Should Blacks have a separate nation in the USA?

Sometimes I wonder if that might not be for the best.


Not "all blacks" by any means... voluntary if people want to move there. Those who don't feel that living under the current system is fair to black folks, etc... it could be an autonomous region with its own laws, gov't and so on.

Might actually ease tensions in the rest of the country.


I don't think the majority of black folks would want to move there... I doubt even 10% really. But it could be a safety valve for those who feel that the American system is intolerably unfair to them. I imagine Louis F. and his group would favor it.


Where would be a question.... you'd have to eminent-domain a lot of it...

Big country... there has to be a large enough chunk of federal land that could be turned over.

It would be interesting to see how many would actually depart.

No they have a Nation, it is called the USA. Now I would support a homeland for white separatists, some place out of the way, waaay out of the way.

Back to Africa and other "let's get out of this country" talk has always been a fringe thing, so 10% is very generous.

About eminent domain... perhaps they could get San Fransisco/Oakland and some of the suburbs.

The loving, compassionate citizens of that city surely would be big hearted enough to relinquish the city by The Bay for the greater good.

This way they'd have infrastructure, airport, and access to the Pacific.

Legally it could be sort of like a Native Res.


But if you did it with Fed land you'd have to build housing and infrastructure first... remember we're mostly talking city folk, they are not going to pioneer undeveloped wilderness willingly.

It's not my thread, that's why I asked for the clarification. Just saying "blacks" doesn't really narrow it down if someone is caramel.
