All the electoral college defenders say we have to have the EC because the people can't be trusted to vote for president. If ever there was a time for the electors to exercise some actual judgement rather than just rubber stamping the election results this is it. Our country and our planet is at stake. They need to do the right thing and not let America slip in a Nazi Germany-like nightmare.

Would you have thought it appropriate to do this same action to try to overthrow Obama's election by conservatives concerned he would be the next Joseph Stalin?

I really hat how all of sudden all you guys care about the electoral college. If Hillary had won the EC, you guys wouldn't be complaining right now.

You guys are acting just like how Donald Trump reacted back in 2012 to Obama's victory. Donald Trump is the president-elect; you can't change that. Accept that fact of life and deal with it.

Honestly, **** our "kawnstitution" and it's antiquated mandates. This is democracy and the future of our planet we're talking about. You can't vote on the laws of physics. I am for pulling no punches to ensure that the election result is overturned.

This was not a race between a liberal and a conservative. It was a race between a fascist and a small-d democrat. The winning candidate called for making a religious litmus test a requirement for entering the country. The winning candidate admits he sexually assaults women and likes to look at naked underage girls and refers to non-white ethnic groups as rapists.

I understand the reservation about electoral disobedience, but it would be worse to put a demagogue in office. Why can't people understand that?

You aren't going to overturn anything. Trump won the election fair and square, and the result will not be overturned.

The electors have never thwarted the will of the people

I don't see them doing it now.
