I think all hell is going to breakout on Tuesday night if Trump wins...

Are you going to tell me that the "What country are you moving if MR X wins" threads are normal, they happen every 4 years?

Yes, absolutely.

Might even happen if Hillary wins...

.....thoughts on this?

I am not sure, I believe if Trump wins there will be riots in the streets, if Hillary wins who knows what may happen. Yes, it could get Very ugly, Lock and Load.

Some 5 billion people would like to move to the US because they don't like their "representative", but some numbnnut American always gotta threaten to become a refugee. Perhaps they'll seek asylum, they certainly should.

This year it's gonna be me. If I see such a tread, I'll post that if Trump wins I'm moving to Kenya. A politically persecuted refugee deserving UN funding. We'll see who bites. Wait, gotta claim it regarding Hillary because Trump is not gonna win.

I have seen people pull those temper tantrums in real life, then never move. Immigrating is really hard and challenging. Nobody leaves all they know behind unless they have a good reason.

Realistically, either candidate that wins this election, and it'll be one of them, is going to have try and work across the isle with people who, to put it politely, don't like them, have an agenda pretty much diametrically opposed to theirs. Finding common ground on which to build on is going to be really tough.

Between the two candidates, who has the most experience and success in hammering out deals with people that don't like them, with people who have aims and an agenda opposite of their own?

Isn't this the skill that the next president is really going to need to do the nation's business?

The deals in government that have been made up to this point, by and among the political elite, isn't what a significant part of the electorate want. They've had it with those deals, as it always seems like they end up with the ****ty end.

Reports of wide spread voter fraud, typical leftists.

Rioting left isn't beyond possibility.

Hell, in my house dogs and cats are already living together.

I was just mimicking Mickey's "chicken little" act. Doesn't really matter who wins. America will be fine and most people won't be affected in the least. That's how it is with Presidents.

Ordinarily I'd agree.

But I think Trump is a different beast.

Always prepared. But where I live, it's not bad. We don't have any ethnic types to worry about...it's not a jungle like the big cities. Those in the larger cities, need to be ready.

Crime is a Great motivator! ;)

The especially dumb ones, I think.

Pretty much.

Anyone threatening to take up arms if either candidate wins, regardless if party affiliation, is pretty dumb.

Dumb it is, but low information types on either side, will be pissed....than you throw in all the ethnic types and you have chaos. My bet is that you have never been in the middle of a full blown riot. I've been in 3 of them ......and it is UGLY!!

It's no act....it's based on years as a cop and participating in 3 major riots in the US, in that capacity.

If Trump had done what I told him to do, pivot to being a more conventional candidate AND hammer away on behalf of The Rebellion, then there might have been riots, but he did not. Members of The Rebellion know that he is majorly flawed, and that because he is not the whole package he probably loses. Assuming that he does lose there are not going to me a lot of members of The Rebellion worked up enough to riot, because the losing was earned, and we are pro justice, that is one of the major reasons The Rebellion exists in the first place.

Not to mention the fact that Teflon Hillary...skates again.

A large number of people will be much more convinced that the DC ELITE are hopelessly corrupt come Wed than they were a year ago.

That is important progress.

The Rebellion doesn't exist. There's just people like you, talking. Talking on the internet.

You are not a student of humanity, clearly.

My opinion wont change until you actually do something. Which you wont. There are thousands of people like you, talking on the internet. Talking, never doing. You've been doing it since Obama got elected. The real Americans have had enough! Almost, I guess. They'll rise up any day now!! Really, I mean it! If you keep making us mad we'll something something second amendment WE SURROUND THEM OOO RAH

Eight goddamn years I've been listening to this crap. It's old, I'm tired of it. So now all that's left for me is to ridicule every keyboard warrior fantasizing about the uprising that will never be. You'll never do anything and you know it.

Taking part in conversations on matters of the day is doing something, something that can be very important.

Are you also one of those people who has not yet learned how important playing is...do you piss all over that too?

Whatever, your problem, I got my education.

Yes, talking is doing something. But it's not rebelling. That's just a label you've given yourself to feel important.

I disagree because if clinton wins it will most likely mean they won the down ticket too. If she gets the senate back they will get stuff done.k

They sure will....and every bit of it will benefit the wealthy elitist and big banks and foreign interests....while you get screwed for 4 more years plus...e-n-j-o-y :2wave:

Only after there are no more sports channels, no more netflix, no more movies, no more games to go to and practically no more food to eat will anything significant have a chance of happening.

In other words, probably not in your lifetime. Americans are a LONG LONG way from desperation. When the left gets us to Venezuela's current status.....MAYBE then.

And if the left and establishment continues to get "their choice" in (lmao - it's the establishments choice) we'll get there sooner than later

I think the media is blowing it waaaaay out of proportion.

Other then maybe a few isolated incidents; after the election - no matter who wins - things will be normal, IMO.

If Trump wins, there will be gridlock in the DC worse than ever seen before. The GOP is divided on Trump, and the left hates him. A Trump presidency could be the death knell of the GOP. Along with GWB, he will be shunned by the GOP post presidency.

If Hillary wins, I think it will be same as usual. There will be gridlock. The right will hate her, and the establishment left will prop her up.

I personally hope neither of them stay in office more than four years.

What happens largely depends on whether or not the establishment republicans get the message that the voters have attempted to send at least since 2010.

There will be no rebellion. As long as they let Americans have TV, Netflix, and Cheetos, no one is getting off the couch.

If Trump wins, that's the death knell for America. If Hillary wins, the GOP will work with her in order to salvage their party.

Ether way, ether candidate, It’s all going to be great political theater.

Maybe, but he's going to have to deal with Congress who won't support his impulsive acts. One thing for sure... it will be amusing watching him throw temper tantrums on a weekly basis for 4 years.
