Well, when Hillary uses her pull in the State Dept to get Huma a special deal where she is allowed to "double-dip" and earn 4X her current government salary by also consulting for corporations involved in various global enterprises, even though we all know Huma is not qualified to earn that kind of money as a consultant unless she is selling her influence and connections....we have every right in the world to wonder just what the hell is going on.

I believe it can be a reasonable option for those who fear or prefer not to divorce for one reason or another. If someone is in a sexless marriage, and the other partner is cool with them getting it elsewhere---who's to complain?

If someone can't live with divorce then they shouldn't have gotten married in the first place.

Kids, money, etc., it gets complicated. Huma and Doofus live in a $4M apartment and have a kid. He has no real income. She makes probably over 1/2 million per year. I'm sure she'd rather see him **** someone else than take half her **** and income--not to mention the battle over child custody and support.

See? ...complicated.

It simplifies greatly though if he becomes a convicted sex offender.

Once you enter into an arrangement then you're bound to it. If you can't plan ahead and don't review the realities of divorce before you get married then you only have yourself to blame. A large reason why I will never get married is because I actually DID review the realities of divorce and decided I can't live with them.

Ms. Abedin was especially valuable to Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Obama several years ago, when they were busy waging war on Libya, maneuvering to install Mohammed Morsi in power in Egypt, and implementing other parts of their ill-considered "Arab Spring" policy. Abedin has several close family members in Egypt who have long and close connections with the Muslim Brotherhood and with other organizations involved in Islamic jihad.

I've heard that but not seen it confirmed. All I have seen confirmed is that she grew up in Saudi Arabia and her mom lives there still. Nothing tying her to Egypt...at least nothing credible, has been presented yet.

What I see re: her connections to Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood are vague innuendo. But, IMO, it's bad enough that her mother is some big player in Muslim activities in Saudi Arabia. No need to spin it to imply she's also connected to events in Egypt, IMO.
