Obama's Legacy?

Yea, I curse FDR every month when Social Security arrives, much as my parents resented him when they were saved from hunger during the depression. And, oh the burden of higher wages and other employee benefits the New Deal brought us. There are reasons why he was elected four times.

Obama will be remembered for helping fulfill the New/Fair Deal dream of healthcare, (GOP will eventually stop calling it Obamacare) for pushing the Paris accords, and possibly ending US failed policies towards Cuba. Depending on how the Iran deal breaks, for that as well.

The future is liberal so in the future everyone takes it for granted that health care is a right of all citizens. Obama will be seen as having taken the first step in the direction of sanity.

I think conservatives will be remembered as just regressive hate filled proponents of idiotic ideas like climate change denial. People will wonder what all the fuss was about gays. Overall, Obama will be sean as ahead of his time.

I'm assuming this country and the world survives Trump. That's not a given.

Obama will be known as the first foreign born Muslim president that admitting to doing hard drugs and visiting all 57 states.

Lessee, greater respect from our allies, after decades of trying we fulfill the promise of healthcare and join the rest of the world, outreach to our adversaries Cuba and Iran, join a climate treaty with 190 nations, lower unemployment... obviously an utter failure. It will take years for Trump to undo all the damage. Off to a good start, though as he is alienating our allies already.

Sure...this dude knows how to be diplomatic.
Climate control ?
Stop the BBQs...it's the biggest "smoke" screen this dude and his regime has orchestrated.

Btw,you forgot the rise of ISIS and other terror organizations. The influx of refugees...setting up sanctuary cities to house these people...voter fraud,having illegals to vote which we both know it failed miserably.

You bet...our President Trump has called for step up vetting to and about these people in order to control them from invading our country.
I'm not going to be afraid to live everyday life as this dude who was our former dictator wanting us to. I feel safe with President Trump.

I see the man as a president with good intentions, but a bit on the stubborn side which in turn restricted his critical thinking abilities.

He really pissed me the **** off when he didn't keep his promise to pull out all troops. ACA was on the back burner for me, but I wasn't very happy with who was hired to write the bill, and all the goose stepping politicians who never read it.

Yeah.... I trash talked them man, which is considered sport in political forums I guess, but I never hated him

++ go to the State Department web site to find out how refugees are vetted... Nobody gets more scrutiny before coming here... And how was Obama a dictator? Did he attack judges?, spread false information about black on white homicide?, promote torture?, threaten war crimes, as Trump has? That's what dictators do. Obama made a dumb comment about a cop and a black professor, then invited them both to meet. When Trump apologizes for his insults to even one of the groups he has lied about, you can feel confident and safe in his leadership.

I thought of FDR too. It's been less than 100 years though. So we Dems have Wilson or Cleveland. Cleveland wasn't 'bad', from what I can recall. Same with Wilson.
 
I see this dude's hometown of Chicago still has the gang problem.Matter of fact he has never directly addressed this issue.
Our President Trump has mentioned about the youth killing each other. At least he's making a effort.
