Kilss U.S. Goodbye

Is that a fact?
SO, you're happy with Obamacare, you're happy with 1% GNP, you're happy with an exponential rise in food stamp recipients,
you're happy with terrorist murders on American citizens, you're happy with the Iran nuclear deal and you're happy with Hillary Clinton.
My only question: Are you truly happy with yourself?

I'm happy everyone knows your first post was total BS!

HE didn't even create it. It's ripped off verbatim from a meme that has been making the wingnut rounds.

Wingnuts are coming out of the woodwork. I guess they think no one can use google.

It’s vital to understand that a president only exercises an “Executive Order” to achieve some personal agendathat flies-in-the-face of consensus opinion. Every Executive Order further enhances the role and power of the U.S. government ("The Establishment").
Below is a short history of Executive Orders:

George W Bush: 62 in 8 yr
Obama 923 in 3½ ys! (More than 1000 Executive Orders in 6 yr)

Next step…'Dictatorship' (Looks like we are there already!)

Thomas Jefferson:
"When the people fear the government, that is Tyranny;
when the government fears the people, that is Liberty."

Sadly, many Americans have taken their eye off the ball, and are being lead by the noses by 'PIE IN THE SKY' rhetoric.
This same faction is being trained to ambitiously degrade the opposition, to dwell on Donald Trump's bombast, his egoism
and vacuously omit key words like "ILLEGAL" from Mr. Trump's quotes.

To a left-wing radical, the upcoming election is just a big game. It's not about Right or Wrong, but is all about Winning or Losing!
Sadly, there are still many Americans who have yet to realize that they are manipulated liberal pawns (MLP),
that have absolutely no idea what is really happening!

You are wrong, Grasshopper. You need to use correct sources, when supposedly citing facts. Can you cite your source, please?

Here are the correct numbers:

Ronald Reagan Total.......381
George Bush (Sr.) Total...166
William J. Clinton Total....364
George W. Bush Total......291
Barack Obama Total........252

Executive Orders

Obama has been pretty reserved in his used of EO's, esp. considering his administration was faced with almost total obstruction at every turn, the likes of which this country has rarely seen.

Our top political priority over the next two years is to deny President Obama a second term.

From a few years back but I think it gives a correct description of how some conservatives think about Obama and his executive orders ;)

Helpful tip: When presenting information, especially statistics or specific numbers, always cite the source so members may "fact check" before responding.

Now I don't disagree with the basic point.

There have been an excessive amount of "Executive Orders" promulgated in the last 20 years, and something needs to be done to clearly define this Executive power since it appears to be getting out of hand entirely.

Unfortunately you pollute the issue by focusing on the danger electing Trump presents...especially when the worst example in your source so far is a Democratic President, and Hillary is as apt to use them as he did.

His numbers are all wrong. Obama has signed about 252 EOs, far less than Reagan and Clinton, and less than GW.

This is the first, and foremost problem with government...once you give them control over something, they never give it back (except for Prohibition). Government is a cancer that must be contained.

Hillary's sole purpose (and previous with Lord Obama) is to expand government. Expand control. Expand the cancer.

I used to use a toll road that was reasonably priced. Instead of the road finally being paid for, the govt "gave it back" to a private company, who doubled the price of a toll and made everyone get toll tags (which had fees on top of tolls). So yeah, the govt does give some things back. It contracts quite a lot out to the private sector.

But the govt is necessary to do the big things that are not profitable, that a for-profit company won't do. The Hoover Dam, for example. Some things are good for the future, but won't turn a profit for years if ever, good for the country, good for the people. Even though they don't turn a profit right away. National Park Service is another example.

By non-government, you mean corporations, since that's who would hold ALL the power, if the govt weren't there to at least have some protections for the country as a whole and for all the citizens. Granted, the corporation wield great power with the govt, but imagine the horror story it would be, if the govt didn't exist. Concrete and WalMarts from east coast to west coast. No green areas. It would be Time Square everywhere...gigantic neon signs everywhere, shining lights into every window. No respite from the constant advertising and mantra to buy buy buy.

Just to fly in the face of your argument, executive order is not law, presidents do not create law, they sign it into law or veto it.
Executive orders allw the president to direct the law within the terms of its own text. For example a law banning marijuana on a federal level and requiring enforcement by atf and hefty prison times, a president could sign an executive order on them not to actively enforce the law, but he can not remove the law.

It would affect federal agents from looking for it, but would not stop them from prosecuting it.

It also is false statistics..

Executive Orders

Teddy Roosevelt was a liberal by the standards of the day. He was on the right side of history.

Obama and Hillary are on the right side of history.

Trump and his rhetoric will always be on the wrong side of history.

I think that it takes about 20 years for the historians to figure out the medium to longer term impacts of presidential decisions, in a historic context.
By that realistic measure I think it a bit early to claim that either of these people are either on the 'right' or 'wrong' side of history.

True, on a straight simplistic count basis, however, as pointed out in an earlier post, the context and indent of the EO needs to be taken into account. In this case, it would appear that Obama has in fact effectively circumvented existing laws, with his EO based amnesty and what would appear to be open borders, by stretching prosecutorial discretion to the breaking point, a point that a number of federal court ended up calling him on, and rescinded his EO.

A better measure then, would be how many of a president's EOs were rescinded, wouldn't you say?
