Remember when progressives were in love with WikiLeaks, and vehemently defended Julian Assange?

Here's a little reminder.

I do, and I also remember when conservatives thought Assange should be executed for releasing state secrets. Oh, how times change.

Ironically, my opinion is the exact same as it has been.

Another possibility is that over four years of isolation in one room has driven him completely insane. After seeing him on Bill Maher that seems like an extremely plausible theory. While he's obviously quite intelligent, let's just say that while the wheel is still spinning, the hamster has been dead for some time.

Or, perhaps Assange is no longer useful to you and can be thrown under the bus now, as was the case with Michael Hastings. Get out of line and suffer the consequences.
Hastings paid with his life. Assange has been the victim of character assassination, and possibly plots to kill him.

But poor Hillary is the real victim, right?

"Fun" seemed specifically to be Assange's driving motive in the Democratic Committee email incident. There didn't seem to be a larger or more noble goal. If he's always been like this and the isolation just brought that to light, then...oh well.

Rubbish. Assange was outraged by the DNC's attempt to squash Sanders' campaign.
WikiLeaks leaked nearly 20,000 emails on Friday from top Democratic National Committee officials, exchanged from January 2015 through May 2016. Several emails released show that although the DNC was supposed to remain neutral during the primary contest, officials grew increasingly agitated with Bernie Sanders and his campaign, at some points even floating ideas about ways to undermine his candidacy.

It was also #10 on the video I posted. Did you watch it?

After four years of slowing going insane in isolation, which I just said.

Riiiiight. Because Assange was the only one who thought that Sanders was a better candidate than Clinton, and that he was pushed aside by the establishment.

Even Google got caught shilling for Hillary. Where ya been buddy?

Using his situation as a political prisoner being isolated in the U.K. is a really low smear tactic.

Do you work for Herr Hillary? You'd fit right in with that witch and her staff of miscreants.

I'm a Bernie guy myself. Burning the Democratic party to the ground was neither mine nor Bernie's solution. It's a crazy person's solution. A solution by just the kind of guy forced to spend every morning, noon and night in a small room for four years.

Well, Assange wasn't a lunatic when he was burning others to the ground. He's a ****ing rebel, he doesn't play favorites, much like Hastings. I respect them both for that fact.
