It shouldn't be a revelation to anyone who has read my posts that I am no Hillary fan. I'm no fan of the DNC or the GOP, for that matter. There's no way in hell I want Trump in the White House. If Trump becomes President it will have been the DNC's fault. I've long believed that.

Hillary and her equally evil twin, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, made certain, by hook and by crook, that Hillary would get the Democratic nomination. And so she did. In a less dishonest nomination process the DNC wouldn't be fronting a such a distrusted and disliked loser. The DNC effort from the very beginning was NOT about Democrats regaining the White House and supporting state level Democratic candidates. It was first and foremost about getting Hillary the nomination.

Hillary was so unpopular that the DNC had to use every trick in the book to accomplish its primary objective of getting Hillary nominated. In doing so the DNC alienated one hell of a lot people.

Here we are with Hillary Clinton struggling to make progress against Donald Trump. Now Hillary and the DNC desperately needs the support of voting groups they ignored and marginalized.

The DNC and Hillary screwed the Democratic Party, screwed much of the Democratic base and in doing so may have screwed the nation and world.

It would appear the Clinton campaign has suddenly realized they actually need people to vote for their candidate in order to win. Focusing entirely on solicitingdonations from elites in the Republican and Democratic Party can’t get Clinton to the Oval Office. This realization has produced more positive mainstream news coverage of Sanders than he received during the entire Democratic primaries, as the Clinton campaign and their supporters in the media eagerly cover every statement he makes against voting for a third party. Those Democratic Party members who opposed Sanders at all costs during the primaries now praise him.

In addition to failing to hold voter registration drives to the same extent they traditionally do, the Democratic Party and Clinton campaign did everything in their power to limit the pool of voters in the primary, as they would likely have favored Sanders over Clinton.

Agreed with all of this.

And for those who missed it the first time: Donald Trump's likely to be the next President of the United States and its all Hillary damn Clinton's fault.

Have we not been saying for quite a long time now that this is shaping up to be a low turn out election?

It will be because of all the shenanigans over at the DNC in pushing Hillary past Sanders *as well as* all the insanity over on the Republican side seeing Trump push himself past all the establishment candidates in the bunch.

Way back in May NBCNews ran with a story saying the most support for Hillary was being anti-Trump, exact same story in reverse...

Poll: Majority of Americans Dislike Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump - NBC News

Then in August USAToday said something similar (that CNBC later tried to debunk in Hillary's favor)...

Poll: Clinton, Trump most unfavorable candidates ever

And the poll that USAToday was talking about...

Poll: Clinton Unpopularity at New High, on Par With Trump - ABC News

I think we need to face the facts ladies and gents. Picking between these two candidates will be like picking if it is roadkill cat or roadkill dog for dinner. They are both going to be awful, no matter which you think is worse than the other. Low voter turn out is very likely now.

This election cycle is so friggin' frustrating. I get a weird mixture of abject dread and leaping joy every time one of the two major candidates starts to get ahead of the other. It's like a fight between Vlad the Impaler and Ivan the Terrible - who the **** am I supposed to root for?

IF, and I stress IF, there was any truth to that piece, it was lost by using the word "panic" in the headline.

This is balm for the bruised egos of the Trump camp after having been owned in the debate

In a way, that would be quite an accomplishment. Just a year ago really nobody but nobody at all would have suspected it could be done.

Like Arnold in "Conan the Barbarian" bite the hypnotic propaganda and remember; who had a booming surplus, who squandered it, who stalled Obama's recovery (not Obama,) and who wants to run the same program again?

Let's have a big push here on getting everybody out to vote. Let's get a positive vibe going.

I'll be home from my 30 day Chicago trip tomorrow to spend a little more time here on DP.

To keep all you retards from steering off the road.

The DNC made a deal with the devil when they allowed Wasserman-Schultz to screw Sanders as she did. They own Hillary, for better or worse (yes, it's worse).

Don't you wonder what would be going on now if either party had put up a candidate that decent people could get behind instead of these two corrupt lying frauds?

When George W first ran for President like many people I was reluctant to vote for him. More than a few people said, "W isn't our first choice but he is our only choice. If we vote him in office we can begin working on real change and be ready with a much improved party and candidate after Bush." Like an idiot I bought into that horse****. Now we have Trump as the GOP candidate. :lamo A hell of a lot of good it did to work on changing and improving the party. I did not vote for Bush on his second term.

I'm hearing Democrats say the same thing about voting "for" Hillary. I suspect relatively few people will vote "for" Hillary but rather against Trump. No one in their right damned mind can think Hillary will be good for America.

Usually people announce their intention to vote "for" Hillary coupled with an apology, as in "What choice do I have?". Often I read where Democrats say they are voting for Hillary so that Democrats can work on changing and improving the party during Hillary's term. <insert bull**** emoticon here> I've done there and been that with George W Bush and the GOP. It's a fool's game.
