Bernie Ward- The Lefts Golden Pedophile

You implied that the command to forgive proscribed the death penalty.

P.S. I always find it funny when people who purport not to care about Christ's teachings think they know more about them than his followers.

well given how so many of his self professed devoted followers do just the opposite of what Christ taught, I find your comment worthless

You can explain your perspective on it, I'm all ears.

The command to forgive falls under charity, as to "hold grudges" is to wish some harm, however light, on the one begrudged. Thus non-forgiveness is a minor form of the sin of hatred. Thus your reference to the command to forgive was either an implication of malice or a complete red herring.

See the PS in post #43.

My point still stands.

No, it doesn't. You aren't the authority on Christianity, although your concern for his words does indicate that perhaps you are worried that you may be wrong in your disbelief.

Pedantic nonsense, this right here is the red herring, my friend. You want to get all irate over "malice" because you don't want to talk about the real point I was making. Not that anyone is surprised. After all, what do you say to someone who thinks Jesus Christ would approve of executions?

I know anyone who has publicly called for executing anyone from non-christians to those who sell condoms is really in absolutely no position to lecture me or anyone else on Christ's teachings. Your seething hatred for all sorts of people who don't buy into your rather twisted version of fascist-Catholicism is in no way, Christian in any sense

1. I don't hate anyone, nor have I called for the execution of heathens.

2. See post #54.

I suppose if you're a leftist you just insist they're wrong just because, since that's how leftists usually work.

Again, you do not speak for Christ, though I don't understand why you would want to.

You don't speak for Christ either and it's heretical for you to claim you do.

Bernie Ward was released from prison at the end of 2014, after serving 6 years for a child pornography conviction. The details of Bernie Ward's private life were beyond shocking; he had studied for the priesthood in the 1970s where allegations of sexual misconduct with children began to surface.
Chat logs were revealed in court where Bernie claimed to have molested his own children.

Bernie Ward once was called the Lion of the Left, for his San Francisco based radio show on KGO, where he ranted daily about the evils of conservatives. He won an award for bashing the Catholic Church at one point for their handling of the priest sex scandals.

I was sent a blog posting by Bernie, and was shocked to read all the supportive comments people left for him. Many feel like Bernie should be allowed to continue his radio career after a lifetime of abusing kids. I can think of no greater example of the lack of morality on the part of the left than this, that they would support a fat slob paedophile just because he shares their political views.

Bernie may have been accused of sexual misconduct in the 1970s, but he did not molest his own children. "Ward and his children both later told investigators that none of the activities described in the chats ever actually occurred, Ward contending it was just sexual fantasy talk." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernie_Ward

Bernie was very effective at informing us his listeners about what conservatives were doing to us, and what should be done. I miss him very much, along with the other KGO talk shows of all points of view.

"If you claim sexual harassment to be wrong, yet you defend anyone on your side for any reason,
then you are a hypocrite and everything you say on the matter is just babble."

It depends on the severity of the offensive conduct, and the penalty paid by the offender. Response to sexual misbehavior should be fair and should involve due process.

Sorry for the duplicate post. The first post did not appear here for a while, so I thought I had to post again. The edit/delete function seems to dissappear so quickly that I discovered it was a duplicate too late.
