Gop say something positive about our president.

It's scary that you believe that nonsense.

It's scary that I wrote three paragraphs explaining why I believe how I do and you dismiss it as nonsense. Not unexpected though since you are probably unaware of most issues I cited and just sticking your fingers in your ears and shouting blah blah blah is more comforting then doing actual research and being forced to confront the facts

An excellent example of liberals giving him too much credit, again.

An excellent example of a conservative responding to a conversation in a parallel universe.

Hateful?

I didn't hear Guiliani say anything hateful. Would you care to give examples of the "hateful crap" you heard?

well allow me to rephrase americans mayor said a terrible thing about our President

Okay...then, so what?

People have been saying terrible things about Presidents since...well, forever. Bush...Clinton...Bush...Reagan...Carter...keep going back. They've all had terrible things said about them. Kind of goes with the territory, doesn't it?

To say the man does not love his country and its because he was raised differently... is just a hateful. and wrong thing to say about a president as for bush please the gave a "f" about nothing expected WARS.

I never thought I'd utter these words: Cheney is 100% correct. I didn't think I'd live to see a worse POTUS than shrub, but damn if the the political machine didn't deliver on the very next one.

I suspect that highlighted text has some kind of typing/grammatical errors...but the result is, it doesn't make a lick of sense to me.

"Gop say something positive about our president."

He has an endearing personality and a talent for public speaking.

I'll agree with you about his talent for public speaking, but not about his endearing personality...especially when he gets into his Maddow-wanna-be snarky mode.

What great speech today by our President pointing out the errors and mastake of the last administration... with respect to how he is trying to avoid war with Iran and try a peaceful approach.

It sure is nice to not have a cowboy in the Whitehouse isn't it? Bush's best accomplishment was cutting brush at his ranch. Now they are trying to foist another Bush loser on us and send is into another nightmare of financial misery and planes full of body bags coming home from somewhere we shouldn't have been. Never again...

Jeb Bush just some crap "my brother kept us safe" then blame Obama for keeping us unsafe. Smh

With only 2years left in office would be nice to start to see the GOP say something positive and give this president some respect for saving this nation from its one way trip into the deepest depths of hell. A path that last guy had us on as a nation with his non domestic agenda.

Ok..."Thanks Obama. You are paving the way for my personal choice for president, Donald Trump. I can't say how much this means to me, since I've dreaded the prospect of a Hillary Clinton white house for almost 10 years. Have fun playing golf with bankers the rest of your life, cya!"

Sincerely,

Mr. Trump will not be President he makes little to no sense on every major political topic and even the campaign of "lets make America great again" can you explain to me at what point our nation stoped being GREAT? Shm

Are you familiar with recent history? Let's roll back say, 50 years, 1966.

Only 50 years ago we made all of our own products in the US.

American products were the envy of the world.

A fast food worker could afford to keep a small apartment, pay rent, buy food, have a car.

Islamic Terrorism didn't exist in the US.

The Crips and Bloods didn't sell crack to their people.

The government didn't spy on its citizens.

Jobs were plentiful, NAFTA didn't send jobs to Mexico while sending drugs and illegals to America.

Nobody shot up schools.

Obama surprised me on his visit to Cuba by standing up for democracy and human rights. He trapped Raul Castro in a press conference by insisting that Castro answer questions about dissidents. Castro was clearly embarrassed and angered by being ambushed in this way.

Raul Castro had never had to answer questions in a press conference before. The press conference was broadcast live to all of Cuba.

The episode provides some credence to the idea that Obama pushes that the US opening up to Cuba will help to liberalize Cuba.

The 50's were actually 60 years ago but:

You didn't have to have your toothpaste confiscated for boarding an airplane
Voters worried more about the common good than partisanship.
One could dedicate a career to company if he or she wished without seeing it move overseas
People were far more respectful of and helpful to one another
Government was much, much smaller and freedom much, much stronger.
People dated in person, not digitally with cell phones.

I could go on but I'll leave it at that.
