I'm afraid you're right.

In four years, the losers will be more dependent on the government than ever. Government will grow bigger, and bigger, and bigger.....

The nation has changed. We're going to be a lot more like Venezuela, and a lot less like what was formerly America. The same party is going to win over and over and over because most people will vote for Santa Claus and his free goodies for doing nothing every time.

I get nothing free, and I am an Obama voter. By the way, your avatar is a bit dated, don't you think?

Go easy on the sore, he needs to construct a new play house for his bruised mind. If he pretends he's part of the special group that is better than everyone else it helps mend his little mind.

slam dunk

special thanks to scottie pippen.

Over the next four years the economy will continue to rebound and we will gradually get deficits under control. The real esate market will rebound, unemployment will fall to 6.5% or below, and GDP growth will stand at 3.5 - 4%. We won't be in any wars. And conservatives will still be whining.

Exactly. Slow growth for the largest economy on the planet snowballs and soon it will be strong growth. Higher taxes on the rich will help prevent misallocations of capital into bubbles, thus preventing another conservative recession. Cheap energy prices as we convert to natural gas will result in productivity gains that will make conservative whine with horror.

Why don't you just tell us how great it'll be with Obushma's fourth term?

The past 4 years.

You mean an improving economy, the auto industry improving more, more personal freedom, and drawing back from war, maybe even out of Iraq and Afghanistan?

Thanks for the hopeful view of the future.

First, I wouldn’t be so sure about not being in any wars.

Second, if it was true that is exactly what the conservatives would whine about. Not being in any wars. ;)

being more efficient doesn't create dependency. You're misunderstanding is not equal to fact. Now it can be more efficient, and we can help business by removing healthcare from employment, but you really show a huge misunderstanding of the issue. Having publically funded fire departments did not make people more dependent.
