That reminds me of Popeyes spicey chicken, dirty rice & beans with chicken livers and buttermilk biscuit. Oh crap, now I've got to get some for dinner.

Food.

Of course food is my favorite dinner; with a close second being "food that I didn't have to prepare for myself".

Some onion soup for the vitamin C and sinus clearance won't hurt.

We make a lot of things in the slow cooker (crock pot) like spaghetti sauce and Chili. It's great!!!

The important thing to remember is to rice your potatoes while still hot, spread the riced potatoes on a cookie sheet to let as much steam as possible escape. That way you need less flour, thus a lighter, more fluffy gnocchi.

Seems like more work than it is worth.

Then again I said the same thing about pasta for 30 years, and now my newish Marcato Atlas Pasta Machine gets steady use.

Homemade hamburgers with natural 92% lean ground beef, mayo, onions and tomato on Orowheat whole wheat buns. Organic blueberries for dessert.

So we went to BK again yesterday. House hunting leaves little time for cooking. Laziness is also a contributing factor. To solve the carb issue, and since BK offers 2 for $6 at the moment, we both had 2 impossibles, extra onions, and skipped the buns.

I've yet to try the impossible burger, but intend to some day. I did buy some frozen Beyond Meat burgers at Sprouts Natural Market, but wasn't impressed with them. They did have more a a meat-like texture, but no better than the Morningstar Farms Prime Grillers veggie burgers I've been buying for years. I'd like to get something good to make at home, don't eat out much at fast food places.

Best of luck in your house hunting Lovebug, sounds like fun! We've owned the home we have now for over forty years, perfect for us and we plan to stay here.

I've got a cold. Homemade chicken soup.

It's always better when someone else makes it for you when you're feeling ****ty. No matter, chicken soup actually works.

Be well and binge good movies on Netflix. I'd recommend good movies and books but we probably don't share the same tastes.

Butter Chicken and Calrose rice cooked in an Instapot. I like Indian food and I'm addicted to Calrose rice.
