An Olympia area mexican restaurant, which by definition means that the food is at best 25% as good as San Antonio mexican restaurant food, but the drinks are passable, and that will have to be enough.
 
I have been drinking juices and smoothies (home made) to trim up a bit...
 
used up the leftover veggie beef crumbles and made two soft tacos w/ salsa, cheese, and lettuce
had a brownie for dessert.

Cream of Cougar Gold Broc soup with the perfect crusty bread and the perfect rare and expensive wine.

This BUG OUT OF CHINA might very well get me, I am drinking the cellar and eating the prized CG stash now...living my best life now.
 
Oven grilled Atlantic salmon sprinkled with Old Bay seasonings, sliced Yukon gold potatoes sauteed in olive oil. Key lime pie for dessert.

OMG you showed up here during my absence ( I never expected at all that I would be back here, but here I AM!) so I dont know you a lick.....but that ma'am/sir/whatever sounds awesome, and it sounds like you hail from Fly-Over Country....

Smoked turkey breast with mayo and onion on poppy seed Kaiser roll, pickle on the side.
 
With temps in the high 60's we grilled a porterhouse,steamed asparagus , baked potatoes and a really good pinot noir.
 
Beef stew with frozen stew veg....I keep telling my wife not to buy these, there is absolutely no reason to suffer the quality decline of not using fresh....so far I have not gotten through.

She forgets.


Served with crusty baguette and a upscale butter.

veggie chicken nuggets w/ honey.
 
Refried beans, onions and cheese, wrapped in whole wheat tortillas, covered in 505 Green Chili Sauce and American cheese...baked in oven until cheese melted.

Seared foie gras with cheery pomegranate strawberry sauce....served with mead.

Berkshire Hog tenderloin with a sour cream mushroom sauce....served with red blend from Walla Walla....My grandpa's hobby was raising prize Berkshires.,,,with risotto and asparagus.

Desert contracted out to Lacey's best bakery.
 
We went to a good local restaurant in my hometown.

Salad
Baked tortellini Alfredo.

Cold Berkshire Pork Loin Hoagie using Safeway Baguette ,mayo, horshradish, mustard and pepperoncini.
 
had my road meal, as i was on the road.

Egg McMuffin
small fries.

my road companion, a toy fox terrier, got the Canadian bacon and one of my fries. she inhaled it in less than a minute.
 
Whole wheat spaghetti with homemade sauce and Zinfandel wine.

thanks! she's almost 15 and is still going strong, knock on wood. i know that i won't always be able to say that, so i'll enjoy it now and hope for the best.
