Read that, in the right-side column of the homepage, as one thing, "cheese curds clam chowder" and thought "that's not a great idea".

I'm soo glad you didn't reply, "I put the cheese curds in the clam chowder". You coulda done that just to mess with everyone and you didn't. That's a good deed for the day.

Rabbit (that was shot and killed last Saturday)

Fried potatoes

Frozen mixed veggies

The one thing that I loathe most in the food world is pretension. I loathe it. But even in jest, there are some thing that just simply are not done...

Might have told this story before, but the first time I had rabbit, hasenpfeffer I didn't know what I was looking at. So I dug into what I thought was the leg and felt all the bunny's little ribs in my mouth. Yeah, that was a bit off putting.

Now I'm not trying to be contrarian or provocative, but let's just say in theory that someone put cheese curd in someone's clam chowder just to see what happens. I don't think that's completely wrong.

You? Nooo...perish the thought...;) I know people who give a few skeets of ketchup into their mac and cheese. Wrong? But it's not something I'd serve.

I grew up putting ketchup on everything. Ev er y th ing. I have no idea why. Neither do my parents. I remember eventually being shamed into awareness while dipping a great steak in it. Now I'm obsessed with sriracha instead.

If you take the middle stuff out, you get cheese curds and fries. Add in gravy and you get poutine.

I had never heard of Butter chicken before so I looked up a recipe. I'm going to make it.

It is excellent, in my opinion, and not difficult to make. It tastes similar to chicken tika masala.

Let me know how you like it.

Good poutine is a gift from the gods of cooking. It's unhealthy enough to taste feckin awesome.

vegetarian pot pie.

Take out from good Mexican restaurant. Pork Carnitas (with green chili sauce, onions, beans, guacamole) and Chili Rellenos (crispy) smothered in green chili sauce.

French toast with vegetarian sausage patties. I haven't had breakfast for dinner in years. I'll be fixing that.

Tuna salad sandwiches on Good Seed bread.

Last night we had pan seared brussel sprouts and roast Rabbit

We were looking for more healthy alternative foods and came across
FFL-Product%20Image-Sprouted%20Sesame-Updated%20Packaging-iv2.png

Wow, that bread is ever so good toasted.

We also invested in a Ninja Foodi 5-in-1 Indoor Grill. Great buy. Egg white omelets on the bake option come out great, some experimenting involved. :)
Yesterday we had marinated tofu steaks with asparagus, 10 mins on the grill cycle. Good stuff and clean up is a snap.

We found it in the freezer section where they have cauliflower crust pizza and stuff like that. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
