What did you have for dinner? -Part dois

please share the secret of deep frying chicken
we had price's chicken coop since the great depression
never had a need to prepare it for myself, as it was 5 minutes away ... until price's sold its property adjacent to the new light rail line to developers
now i am desperate to learn the deep frying method for chicken
We've never tried it but it popped in my head when you were asking for it
We watched it on the food network some years ago.

Oh man, I’m sorry. I should’ve said it was take out. My wife and I bought the chic and pots at the farmers market Amish chicken vendor. I made deep fried chicken one time and it didn’t work out well.🫤
no, that was on me, assuming something you did not post
lemongrass chicken tomorrow on the grill
will get my chicken fix even if it is not deep fried

As I was leaving the office last night one of the receptionists came from the dining area and insisted I eat Tang Yuan. It is served on Lantern Festival day, and that was yesterday. It is a kind of warmed up fruit. Otherwise, I ate nothing for dinner.

One of our favorites..
Spaghetti Aglio e Olio
It never fails to please.
Try adding sautéed onions to garlic but no red pepper flakes. (We prefer Vidalia's) and top with toasted walnuts. One of our favorites. I got the recipe from our Neapolitan neighbor when we lived in Boston and were living on the cheap.

Please describe the taste and texture. Google comes up with rice balls.

I just asked my colleagues. They said it is made to look like a fruit. It is actually glutinous rice formed into shape, then filled with anything you desire. Mine was sweet, so perhaps some fruit.

I made baked shells. I had planned to make lasagna but after I started I discovered that I didn't have any sheets so I used the small shells that I had instead. I made a quick bolognese as the sauce. I hadn't made lasagna for a year but I watched a video last night and wanted to make it.

The video had an idea of not using pre-made sausage but starting with a piece of raw pork and add the sausage spices to the sauce tio make the Italian sausage in the sauce as it cooked. I wasn't sure how well it work work but I gave it a try. It works quite well. I had 1/3-1/2 pound of pork butt that I diced up, seared and then added to the sauce with the usual Italian sausage spices. I will be using that trick again.
