What did you have for dinner? -Part dois

Muffed stuffrooms!

Fine diced some chicken thighs and fried them lightly with onion. A pinch of cumin and some tahini to hold it together, stuffed it into 3 big mushrooms, baked for 20 minutes.

One of my better efforts.

We tried Chef John's kofta in a vegetarian version using lentils, beans and mushrooms that were very well sauteed to take out the moisture. I found that pureed chickpeas are a great binder.

I'm surprised you had to look it up. The burger has been around since 1963 and predates the Big Mac. It was the first burger I ever ate, with my family at one of their drive-ins.
I haven't seen an A&W for 20 years.

Scalloped potatoes(from a box) smoked sausage and green beans with bacon. Yes, I was lazy.

Norwegian salmon fillet sprinkled with Old Bay and oven broiled. Gold potatoes sliced, seasoned and fried in olive oil until brown on outside and tender and soft on inside. Mango ice cream for dessert.
