What did you have for dinner? -Part dois

My mom was a crappy cook. That's why I learned to cook myself because I hated eating her food. She made decent pie crust, but he food was nasty. She admitted that she didn't like to cook.

I have asister who burns rice and soup, but she also doesn't like to cook.

Sorry to hear that. Generally, if people don't like to cook then what they cook isn't gonna' taste so hot.

Kiddo asked for pizza for dinner today. My wife had bought some Italian bread on clearance, and i went out and got sauce, mozzarella, and pepperoni. I sliced the loaves lengthwise and made pizzas. Baked it at 400F for ten minutes and added parmesan cheese. Everyone liked it, and we used the clearance bread within its narrow window of viability. Hooray!

I pan-seared 2 small cod filets and then made a white wine, butter, and lemon pan sauce. Roasted parsley potatoes and a steamed veggie made it a relatively healthy meal.

I love fish and this is an easy and healthy way to prepare it.

Crispy chili rellenos and shredded beef burrito, both smothered in green chili sauce. Chips and salsa on the side. Take out from Mexican restaurant.

I made my generic red curry today with rice and naan. Im going to use the leftovers to make a curry pizza on a piece of garlic naan. It could ber great or disgusting but I want to try.

Spaghetti with homemade rice meatballs, shrimp, Garlic flavored Texas toast, cranberry sauce------blackberry cobbler desert a couple of hours later.

Good Friday so pan fried fresh caught pickerel ( Americans call it Walleye) with mashed potatoes and fresh peas. I was on the lookout for fresh caught lake perch but couldn't find any.
