What did you have for dinner? -Part dois

I made roasted potatoes and lit the grill. I have a picture of the glowing grill in the snow but it is very blurry.

I made banana bread a few hours later because I had 2 bananas that needed to be used.

Ever tried that on a sub roll topped with melted mozzarella?
No, but I think I had veal Parmesan that way years ago at a restaurant/diner. It sounds good!

I think everyone has some version of this, but we call it "Hashbrown bake" (aka TaterTot hotdish). Made it the other night for the freezer and blasted it in the oven until hot and bubly.

How else does everyone make theirs? Mines super simple: ground meat (beef or turkey), cream of mushroom soup, splash of milk, peas and corn, topped with mini tater tots and colby jack

Chinese food delivery, Mongolian pork, Szechuan beef, Panang shrimp curry, egg rolls, enough for another meal of leftovers.

Hope you're not in too much pain, and you heal quickly and completely.
Thanks. I did a number on both feet. Wearing a boot is no fun. This might take longer to heal than we anticipated. Our new dog thinks my boot is a a chewy toy.

Corned beef roast sandwiches and French fries.

That corned beef sandwich on the marble rye looks delicious! I've had Jewish, Corn and Russian rye, but don't remember ever having marble. I have to hunt some down someday, just the visual makes it look so tasty. Reminds me of this Seinfeld episode.

You have to try vegetarian fajitas So yummy. We had pico on the side.
We still reap the fruits of last year's garden labor. I found a way to preserve herbs by pureeing them and freezing them in an ice cube trays. Not quite like fresh, but very close.
