I was at the nearby mall (I live next to one) about to head home for dinner when I saw the sign on a NY style pizza place that was having their anniversary- unlimited pizza for $6. Guess what I did? Yup.

LOL the store manager asked me the same thing. I sort of lost count since I can put away huge amounts of food without gaining weight.

My go to daily guitar is a more than 35 yr old Guild Maple NJ 212. I also own a number of nylon and catgut strung classic guitars of extreme high quality, much better than the Guild. There is no way either can rival the other for sounds. Nylon and steel strings produce notably different sound sets. No one listening to both would confuse the two. I'm not doubting your perceptions, memories and belief in the quality of your instrument. There are moments when I think I am the world's best guitarist. @ me

I've also told myself I am god's gift to women. Both my wives found that hilarious.

I wish I was a tenth of good on guitar as either one of those master guitarists. I've been playing guitar almost 55 years, and I'll never be as good as either, not even close. Your choice of "spectacular" couldn't be more appropriate.

Some of us are that lucky. My Dad ate like a horse and never gained a pound. Of course he was also very active.

We'll have Thai fried rice tonight, along with cucumbers in a light lime dressing and pickled jalapenos on the side

Re: What did you have for dinner? -Part dois

I'll be home alone for dinner tonight. The wife is going out with her sister and some of the grandkids to plan a spring clothes shopping day next month. I don't want to hear it. The winter clothes shopping spree wiped out my primary credit card for two months. I had been certain when my wife left for that fateful day, it was still in my wallet.

So I just picked up some smoked sturgeon, and a container of fresh cream for shirred eggs, and a fresh double dutch chocolate donut with a raspberry glaze for desert. I've got yeasty soft rye and acorn flour rolls in the oven, they go well with Irish butter. I'll start with a pear and a blood orange, make a pot of coffee and touch it up with some single cask bourbon.
