Man tormented by mystery pizza deliveries to his house for almost a decade | Fox News

A Belgian man says he has been receiving mysterious pizzas that he never ordered for over a decade. While it may initially seem like an annoying prank, the victim says he’s received so many pizzas over the years that he shakes every time he hears a scooter coming down the street.

Jean Van Landeghem, a 65-year-old resident of Turnhout, says delivery drivers bring pizza to his door at all hours and the day and night, the Independent reports. This has reportedly been going on for almost a decade and Landeghem says he has no idea why.

I wish I had this problem!

They are probably not paid for, which is why it is stressful. I hate the idea of wasting food, so I would probably feel pressured into paying for it if I were in that situation.

I dont think these restaurants would be dumb enough to keep delivering pizzas to the man's address for 10 years if they havent been paid for.

they used to do this **** as a prank when i was a kid. it was a bullying or revenge technique that some of the little assholes that i went to school with enjoyed.

The article said it has been going on for decades. No rational person would continue accepting the food if they had to pay for it.

"Adding another odd layer to the mystery is the fact that one of Landeghem’s friends, who lives 20 miles away, has reportedly also been suffering from similar mystery deliveries. This had led authorities to believe that the culprit must be someone the two men both know. Unfortunately, for now, the cause remains a mystery."

Sounds like an "urban legend".

Is there anyone who believes this? :)

It would bother me because I can't eat pizza.

Sorry to hear that. If I wasnt allowed to eat pizza I would blow my own brains out!

Odds are they're probably a signature order - like triple anchovy, double blue cheese or something like that.

Hmmmm...could the man not just go to the pizza joint and ask who was ordering them?!?

It is easy.
Just have a bite.

I can't even have a bite. I can't eat anything made with flour. I bloat up like a balloon.

Celiac disease sucks.

Have you tried gluten free pizza?

There is no where, where I am, that makes gluten free pizza, but my wife has made it a few times. She makes the crust out of cauliflower, but it is not the same as a Little Caesars, PIZZA PIZZA, or any of those that have their special sauces and cheese.

Assuming they would tell him and expect to lose all that regular money

I knew a guy who just died a few months back who was a Korean War vet and all his meals at his favorite regular dinner had been covered for the last 10 years but they refused to tell him who was paying for them and refused to let him pay himself.
