Quarantine cooking thread

PICKLED EGGS!

I got a good recipe from another forum, and boy - it's a keeper! The egg white hasn't turned rubbery.
Have added chunks of sweet onions pickling with it, and have been doing them in batches - have about 4 big jars marinating in the fridge right now. Great for Keto!
 
Maybe Trump is cooking up some desaster ...
 
One of my neighbors told me isolation has done wonders for his cooking skills. He now "know what almost all the buttons on his toaster over are for, and he's discovered an amazing new product, instant coffee." Mind boggling.
 
What is different is that my wife is home all the time, we dont go out to eat except fast food once a week now (We stopped for 2 months) and we get a Papa Murpy's now and then....maybe 3 so far.

Oh, and we bought a freezer from one of the many failed restaurants when we learned that the supply lines were unstable.

We have been eating very well so far, I have great things to cook, plenty of time...I am a retired chef after all.....and I have two full wine frigs...



Eating good into the Pandemic I have been calling it.
