Water from the tap

The factories in most of the developing world use sugar because they don't have millions of acres of subsidized corn. It's cheaper there.

That makes sense, but I wonder if Coke will go back to real sugar one day. Hershey, over the past 5-7 years, has been gradually converting its chocolate products back from HFCS to real sugar.

I only buy the bubbling variety - for mixing it ....

My kids bought me a Soda Stream for Christmas and it puts the bubbles in non-bubbly drinks. I've used it with an elderberry syrup I make in the fall for use during winter if anyone gets a cold, and it's kind of fun. I'm not sure carbonation is all that healthy but bubbly has a good mouth-feel.

Once in a while, I see "limited edition real sugar coke" for sale. And there's small brand soda with sugar.

I just use a filter. If I need to go somewhere, I have a 20oz bottle I take sometimes.
