I'll start it off. We're having Grouse. It's a dark meat, small bird as the main dish. Going to be making some chestnut cornbread stuffing, rabbit gravy(I roasted rabbit last week and have the organs so why not?) Think I'll do mashed taters with the little red one, skin on, with garlic and probably either Asparagus or acorn squash as the veggie. Pumpkin pie of course, will be dessert. From scratch, not a can.

My son and visiting aunt aint into turkey, so its going to be slow cooked pork ribs and belly (and the kid will only eat veggies because he's weird) with potato salad, corn and cucumber salad and maybe some chocolate cake or a DQ blizzard cake for dessert (havent decided yet)

I will have whatever who cooks Thanksgiving in my family cooks....less the things they cook I do not like.

Well I hope more add to their "Here's what we had for Turkey day.."

Just had the first one.

Mashed potatoes
Corn casserole
Stuffing
Deviled egg
2 dinner rolls with margarine.

Might have a bit of dessert.

Lasagna, salad and pumpkin roll. Not sure what the guests are bringing, but I know mother in law is bringing our dogs some big beef bones.

Our Grouse was... I don't know how to eat that. Not gonna have again. I ****ed up the darned stuffing, never tried to make from scratch was WAY too wet and made goop. FLAVOR was great, texture was ****. Gravy was the star of the show, I used the fat and guts from a rabbit we had a few weeks ago, and that made AMAZING GRAVY.

Second dinner:

Vegetarian turkey roast
Stuffing
Mashed potatoes
Roasted carrots
Cole slaw
Dinner roll
Pumpkin bread
Cranberry sauce.
