McDonald’s had remained tight-lipped about its secretive plans to debut “Donut Sticks” since rumors began circulating early last month — but now it’s safe to say those lips were covered in a blend of doughnut-grade cinnamon sugar this whole time.

On Monday, the fast-food chain confirmed news of the item, described as the “perfect complement to [the chain’s] existing breakfast lineup,” and announced that its Donut Sticks will indeed be available at participating restaurants across the nation starting Feb. 20.

McDonald's delivers again. I think this would go great with caramel dip.

Okay, so I'm somewhat "fussy" about "mass market" donuts: it's Krispy Kreme (KK) or nothing. I don't care whether they're circular or linear, they just need to be KKs.

It must be me but Krispy Kreme's are not the donuts I prefer. I like the local shops myself.

Different strokes for different folks and all that but they don't do a whole lot for me. Over priced for what you get and just not that tasty.

True that.

De gustibus non disputandum est.

I used to date someone that worked at KK. She told me that they would put out the old doughnuts in the morning so you would get a 50% discount if you dropped by KK at night.

Those are ****ing inedible, not only is there way too much sugar but there is also some funky taste that I can not place.

Probably chemical.

I won't deny that it's my "sweet tooth" that draws me to KKs.

I only love the chicken nuggets and fries, I think I will just make my own pancake or buy at a legit donut store. Their breakfast burrito is not good, why waste a couple of bucks for donut.

LOL

Red:
I sure hope not. LOL

Well you know I am well into my 50's and I have found so much malevolence and no where near enough love to this point...so you can understand my skepticism.

I understand your explication of it as it pertains to you and how life's vicissitudes can lead to the compunction of which you write.

Well as you know I have decided that you are far from the dimmest DP Member.

OMG and the "Hot Donuts Now" sign makes my mouth water just thinking about, and I am hours away from the nearest KK.

I usually only like certain items at Mcdonald's--I typically like their breakfast sausage egg mcmuffin (but for some reason, I haven't had any desire for these recently), their fries (which are superb, I don't care what anyone says), mcchicken burger and chicken nuggets. I am not crazy about fast food but compared to all the other fast-food joints, mcdonald's is my top choice.
