I like having popcorn around. I had pop it with a pot, lidded of course, coconut oil and good kernals. I just came across "Tiny but mighty" popcorn, thought I'd give it a go. It's def not bad at all.

I love popcorn although I've been eating it a great deal less because my daughter can't have it with her braces and I am kind enough not to eat it as much around her since she is also a huge popcorn lover. My go to is straight up butter popcorn with M&M's, that's the best!

You used to be able to buy microwave popcorn that was called "Sweet Corn" popcorn... It wasn't sweetened, like caramel, or something, it was just supposed to imitate peaches and cream corn...sounds gross, but it was my favorite, and I can't find it anywhere up here anymore.

Other than that, good old fashioned, air popped, with melted butter and salt (seasoning salt, if I want a change) is the best.

Well, that, and this maple bacon popcorn I buy for 10 bucks a little bag, that has real bacon in it... A rare treat, but instant crack.

Try popping it in a pot like do, you'll never air pop or put butter on your popcorn again

The Mix is made up of a blend of rich, buttery caramel corn and premium, aged cheddar cheese corn. The result is a mouthwatering mix of sweet and salty... known famously at The Mix.

You can buy this at Walmart or Target

Warning: It's addictive

lol...I've tried it, and I ended up with the smoke detector going off, and a pot full of landfill.

I'm very talented in some areas of the kitchen...but I have weird blocks. Like, I didn't make an edible grilled cheese sandwich until I was in my 30's....but I could do a perfect Cornish game hen dinner by the time I was 18.

Yes, can confirm, this stuff is the bomb...and very addictive.

You should try:

You lost me at M&M's. :2razz:

I adore popcorn and have a few brands I like to buy when I'm too lazy to pop it myself.
Butter or cheddar, please.

QFT. Won't have it any other way at home. Many, many moons ago the mrs worked at a movie theater. They were able to bag up the leftover popcorn and bring it home. We're talking garbage sized bags.

Can I get that on Amazon? Sounds yummy.

Not sure...but you can buy it here:

I should warn you, though...once you start down this path, you can't come back. These guys make very good, very expensive, popcorn. The little store in my town that sells it knows I have an issue, and manages my purchases responsibly... lol

The thread reminds me when I was a kid and went to the movies Saturday afternoon.
First thing you would smell was the fresh popcorn popping. I would get the "buttered"
popcorn. I know it was not real butter but was it tasty to a teenager. Many buckets of
popcorn were consumed at the theater. ;)

The only time I eat popcorn is when I watch a movie at the theater. One bucket with no salt or butter, please. :popcorn2:

You can Amazon it, but I bought from direct, cause I like supporting small operations when it makes sense.

I used to love Smartfood cheese popcorn but then they sold to Frito-Lay who promptly cheapened the recipe. Now they dont even make it themselves, they contract manufacture.... the wife bought some recently that was gross, they use very inferior corn now.

I pop it in a pan with salad oil and then toss with salt, pepper and cheap parmesan.

The absolute best.

Bought an air popper and it blasts the corn and unpopped kernels out at the speed of a bullet. It does not pop about 20% of the kernels so I save them and re-use.

You can but cheese powder in most stores.

I like to air-pop the popcorn in to a paper shopping bag, pour a cube of melted butter over the popcorn, shake, then season with granulated garlic and black pepper and sprinkle a healthy dose of shaved Parmesan cheese and shake it again then pour into a large bowl and share. Yum.
