This is not a question as to the benefits/preferences of the different type of grills. I am dealing with propane gas grills only. I have had a Weber for 10+ years. There is an outfit online that will supply replacement parts and I have rebuilt/replaced most parts a few times. Earlier this year, I decided that we would look for a new grill. All I could find was junk, so I got some more parts and rebuilt. What do the propane grillers use?

Yes i know I am off topic.
If I could have a grill, I would have this one.Kamado Joe.
Cannot due to small amounts of smoke that come from the use of charcoal. Live now in an apt building

Same quality as BGE ( Big Green Egg) excepting KJ adds more items that are included in theirs.
BGE has add ons that quickly add up as they are sold separately. KJ has also improved on the ash box and other things such as divide and conquer cooking, only available on the Big Joe 24 inch.
BGE has not.

I use charcoal now and medium sized grill but since we have acquired a travel trailer (handy propane supply already used for the RV's water heater and interior stove) I have been looking at some propane models for a possible replacement/addition. As you can see, from the links below, the cost can get rather ridiculous as the size goes up and features get added. Of course, for RV/camping use the storage space required can be a much bigger issue than for home/yard use only.

15 years and still going strong

We had a Weber that died. Got a used CharGrill for 60 bucks from a guy on Craig's List. 350.00 grill he was dumping because the grates rusted. New grates were 35.00. It's a 4 burner model with a pot burner on the side. Okay so far, but it's only been about 3 months.
