It means I hate eating and regret this decision, now until I'm gone.
end thread
Okay okay, fine that's not really informative.
Pre-OP was 1 3 oz serving of tuna or chicken breast sans skin and never fried
2 protein shakes
Snacks were Celery and Cucumber
Post op
Chicken broth and water.
I'm now to the point REALLY soft stuff can be eaten.
Later real foods.
What does that mean though? Real foods?
I can never again partake of fatty foods, fried anything, high carb foods (think anything like breads, pasta, rice, cereal, sugary anything) or the like. Nothing carbonated either.
It also means that I can eat about what would fit in the palm of your hand, and it will take me up to 30 min to eat that much.
For the rest of my life.
Foods I can eat are like Fish, baked, grilled, broiled fried without breading (olive oil), shellfish, beans, watery soups, potatoes on occasion though sweet potatoes are good more often I just don't like them unless they are covered in brown sugar and marshmallows. ****, another thing uneatable. Veggies are good, small amounts of fruit, low fat dairy, Chicken, lean beef, turkey, quail, dove, game hens (all no skin of course) and oh, lots of protein shakes.
So, the point of this thread, I'd really really REALLY appreciate it if anyone reading this had some great fish recipes they'd like to share. I collect recipes, and having a broader brush of ideas for how to do fish would really make my day. OH and if you make shakes at home, nutritional kinds, please share. Or ways to make bean based soups. I prefer home made to canned.
Thank you in advance.
