I just wanted to share some of my favorite youtube vids with people eating.

Mark Wein is pretty popular and he's gone to lots of countries. This one is his Greek food tour:

My favorite is Sonny, though, his food blogs are funny:

Anybody got other food blogs they'd recommend?

  • Juls' Kitchen
  • The Mediterranean Dish
  • Gordon Ramsay Recipes
  • Martha Stewart -- One thing I especially appreciate about Martha's recipes is that they are detailed so you know what you're in for and they work. I don't know if you've ever tried recipes only to discover that you needed some skill the author didn't tell you about....Martha doesn't do that to her readers.
  • Not a blog, but worth mentioning -- La Technique by Jacques Pepin. Even more so than Martha's directions, he fills his instructions with tips on how to do "this and that," which is part of technique but isn't strictly part of the recipe. The Complete Pepin is also good for anyone wanting some basic recipes that they can easily build on. Even in that very short text, tons of technique that's super useful when one isn't following a recipe.

*drools* now, im hungry lol XD

I've seen Pinterest, but I haven't looked closely to see just what it's about/for. It's not even clear to me whether it counts as social media. But then, I only relatively recently (2017) discovered Internet forums. (Truly, I don't anticipate participating for too much longer in forums; they're rather disappointing as conversation places....There seem to be flashes of interesting chatter, but not enough to make me stay once my objectives for them have been achieved.)
