Where I live we only have two kinds of Oreos, standard and brownies. I'm planning to order other flavors. Any recommendations?

Dont.

Oreos are awful. Hated them since I was a kid.

There's more than one kind of Oreo?

I would not go as far as you saying I hate them - but they are vastly overrated. If you have not had them in quite a while - the classic oreos - a couple of them with cold white milk is actually treat occasionally but not good enough for any regular treat. Give me a good chocolate chip cookie any day of the week over an oreo.

I just thought there were the regular chocolate ones and the double stuffed ones.

My daughter-in-law is a baker and apparently in her bakery the get these 5 pound bags of oreo pieces for putting into cakes and ice creams and the like. She brought one home with her. I made a bowl of oreo soup with some and some milk. Was tasty though a couple of hours later my stomach let it be known that it didn't appreciate all the sugar.

My fav is Scottish shortbread but I like an Oreo now and again. My grandchildren like them and I want to surprise them with different flavors.

Maybe you are not eating them properly :)

Reminds of of the guy who went to the doctor with food sticking in his ears. The doc said he wasn't eating properly.

I'm not a fan, either. I can tolerate the chocolate part, but the creme filling is just nasty.

Give me a big old chunky Pepperidge Farm Sausalito any day over that Oreo crap.

Doing neat things for the grandkids is a pure good. I hope they love them.

I like the mint creme oreos.

x2 although since zyzygy wants to feed them to his grandkids, not sure they'd like the mint

I still eat them like a kid - "unscrew" them, lick off the filling, and dunk the cookies in milk, coffee or ice cream

I love the original Oreos. But frankly, all the variations are inferior to the original, IMO.

we were more of a Sunshine Hydrox family when i was a kid, but i have definitely eaten plenty of Oreos.

there was also a French Vanilla sandwich cookie in the late 80s - mid 90s that i really liked. i used to eat a bunch of those while chugging milk and gaining weight. i'm trying to remember the brand. i think that the bag was blue and it had something to do with an old lady.

edit : i might have gotten the last part mixed up with the Grandma's brand. those are good, but they aren't the cookies that i'm thinking of.

The first Oreo my god-daughter ever ate was a classic. She unscrewed it, licked off the creme filling and then fed the cookies to the dog. She had never so much as seen an Oreo before then.

a little caramel syrup on the filling then put back together
