Everything on your list except pigeon, cuttlefish, and opposum. I also drank the fresh blood of a cobra killed right in front of me in a back alley in Jakarta, Indonesia at 3:00 am while being drunker than I have ever been. They decapitated while alive and immediately squeezed the blood into a shot glass for me to down. They then cooked up the meat for me.

Not a lot on that list, I think because since I grew up eating more than I wanted of tongue, brains, kidney, liver (though liver I rather liked), tripe and the like (Mom thought those were swell deals for protein) I decided to eat higher on the hog so to speak during this life. I for instance have no desire to go try Bush Meat, though I hear that it tastes good.....I'll take a steak tyvm.

Hmmm... interesting. The rat I ate was shook out of a palm tree in rural Vietnam. Strange diets in the third world.

Y'all won when you got to "rat".

I consider myself to be a fairly adventurous eater but rodents and insects just aren't on my diet.

No bugs sans snails.

Edited your list for things I haven't eaten.

Add Antelope (turning some into summer sausage as we speak).
Jellyfish... rubbery.
No croc but have eaten alligator.
Had a chance to try bear, but no didn't want too.
Duck, goose, swan (tundra), pheasants, hungarian partridges, sage grouse, franklin grouse, blue grouse.

Plus more shellfish/fish than I can think of off the top of my head.

Snails (escargot) aren't bad though, for the most part, they're just something else to get butter and garlic into your system.

If it comes from the ocean I have probably eaten it but I don't recall ever eating jellyfish or whale. Squid, however, hell yeah!!

I'm not much on bugs that aren't "mudbugs" and pretty much anything that qualifies as a "varmint" is off my list outside of extreme circumstances.

My wife's aunt and uncle took me to a Korean dim sum place and they had some... so. IIRC I put a lot of hot sauce on it. They also introduced me to sushi on that trip for which I am grateful... oh add roe to the list, lol.

Sushi is fine. I had a supervisor a bunch of years ago that loved to see how far he could push the new guys with Asian food. Once I got past the shrimp heads he stopped trying.

I also ran across an Argentinian joint when I was stationed in Puerto Rico that had all kinds of gland meat and stuff on the menu. I never did the Mountain Oysters but everything else was fair game.

Don't you have anything herbal vegetarian ? Maybe that is why the rate of cancer gets higher in the West.

I consider myself to be a fairly adventurous eater but rodents and insects just aren't on my diet.

Rodents, being voracious scavengers, are not safe unless vegetarian. People should stick to squirrels. No one I've ever met in Africa ate rats. I wonder if the rats eaten in Asia are species like squirrels, vegetarians (for the most part, they might eat insects but not carcass).

I mostly eat vegetarian... this list is just stuff eaten. Not a diet.
