Were they the "tentacles" (not sure if it's the right term) or whole body?



I've had a chilled jellyfish appetizer a Sichuan place I love. Nothing to write home about. They might as well have been Udon noodles. Roughly the same consistency, no taste of their own. Meh.

No idea, they were just slices.

I have eaten a bunch of crap, some of it liked, much of it I did not. Like for example opossum has a very strange taste to it, not something I would ever eat again. Pigeon is a delicacy in middle east countries, it is called squab, it tastes ok but not sure how pigeon became a delicacy.

I also had mystery bird at a dfac in afghanistan, not sure what it was and the dfac workers would only say it was not chicken, my best bet was grouse or some other game bird, likely sourced nearby to that country.

On other animals the list goes

squid- did not know I ate it until after, it was squid jerky from a hawaiian native

kangaroo- actually good
ostrich- not bad
buffalo- awesome, I wished they kept them alive and farmed them instead of cow, finding real buffalo is difficult though here in the states, and hunting a live one is a lottery, due to how rare they are though their numbers are slowly returning.

Probably many others I forgot to mention.

I can't think of anything else. Most of it on here is very good, aside from mussels and clams, which I don't care for. I also don't do bugs and most reptiles. But yeah, I can't really think of anything else.
