I had leftover pork tenderloin sliced very thin on a Hawaiian bun with leftover Grillin'Beans. Delish!

You?

I ate some Ramen Noodles w/ a Monster.

I knew! When I saw your name, I said, "Ramen Noodles." :2razz:

I like them actually. Sometimes I throw the packet away or drain the noodles really good and put spaghetti sauce on them. Fast!

Grandma, please, do not turn over in your grave.

Never done that before. Sounds interesting.

Do you have the little ramen noodle cooker for the micro? Has a line on the side for water fill up. Three minutes and perfect. $5.

I have a bowl that I use, but it doesn't have a fill line.

You've got to do something with the ramen. Even if you just chop up some green onions and toss it in there it's an improvement. Adding veggies (squash, broccoli, greens) at least gives you some nutritional value. Otherwise it's nothing but empty calories and you need to save those for beer.

All true, except that she may not need to care about the calories. I didn't until pretty late in life.

Linguine and homemade Red Clam sauce... And some fresh French Bread. Slightly warmed the bread with a little bit of butter.

I had no breakfast, and now ate a big lunch, so no dinner for me tonight either. When I have a big lunch(which is seldom) that's my only meal of the day. But I had this Red Clam sauce craving. And I make a mean Clam sauce.. I got to have it. lol

The Caribbean bar at the dining facility has Rice (w/ cilantro) and beans (with tomatoes, onions) with either pulled pork or seasoned chicken, with mango salad and fried plantains. I put a little green Habanero sauce on the chicken. Gotta love food on a military base, I got enough for lunch and dinner and still < $5

Beef teriyaki on mixed salad followed by mixed fruits salad.

Subway....zzzzzzzzzzz.....you guys all had better lunches so far. :(

Ha-ha. :2razz:

lol...thanks a lot.

Ramen tip for when you have the munchies, but no desire / energy to walk to the convenience store and the cupboards are bare (something I encountered quite often at college, because...reasons...lol) : Take the spice packet out of the noodles, being careful not to destroy the package. Crunch the crap out of the noodles, but don't disintegrate them - you want them still big enough to grab with your fingers. Take spice mix and pour into bag o' broken noodles. Close bag, shake, and eat. Nom.

Hmmm. I might try that tomorrow. :)

Ya, I'm doing that when I get home. I shouldn't comment in these food threads, I get instant cravings...lol... Haven't thought about that one in a while...hehe

Ok, I give up. What are featherbones? Sounds spooky...

 I guess I should have added that they were pork featherbones.

Like this:

I slowed cooked them in the oven yesterday and then simmered them for about 30 minutes in some of my homemade chile, a salsa verde. They were delicious and the meat fell right off the bone! Then it was perfect for leftovers for lunch today.

I just checked. They're an alternative to whalebone for stays in a corset.

Still not sure why you'd eat them. Maybe if you dipped them in ranch....

I had a can of reduced sodium Progresso chicken gumbo soup, heated in the can with my bucket heater. Cheap, fast, good. :)

You're camping, or you're just a boy who loves his toys? ;)

Lol, I use it to heat water for work. I'm a tile guy. But yes, I love my toys.
