When you order a pizza you will be picking up grab a clean plastic garbage bad with you. Put the pie in the bag and tie it off and fold the tie under. It will help keep the pie warm during the ride home.

Or, if you're worried about it, take a couple of towels.

or you could place it in a warm oven

Or you could buy an RV that has a wood-burning oven in it, just for special trips like this.

Uh.....that's the delivery dudes concern, not mine.

That would prevent my kids from secretly digging in and eating most of it on the way home!

I crank up the passenger seat warmer.

Or just reheat it in the microwave for a few seconds.

Put a large pizza in a microwave!! Microwaving make the pie soggy and limp.

Try actually reading the OP du-u-u-u-de.

I read it. I never order for pickup. The entire reason I order food is because I feel like being a lazy slob that night, and not lifting. If I order for pickup....then I gotta get in my car, turn key, push the clutch numerous times to drive, be alert, etc. That's lifting multiple fingers. And toes.

I'm way too lazy for that, bro.

Towels are porous so that is a useless idea.

Why does that matter? Retention of heat is what you want. Too much moisture makes a pizza soggy.

It just came from a warm oven!! Why wait for it to warm up?

if this is true, then what is the purpose of your thread

given that it remains warm when it arrives, why address which means should be taken to keep it warm on the drive home

Or get a job as a pizza delivery guy, steal one of the pizza warmers when nobody is looking, and then quit. Now you have an actual pizza warmer! :)

i like it
focus on the ideal solution

I stole a bag from papa johns when I was a delivery driver there...

Literally my greatest criminal act, I regret nothing.

Where's this moisture coming from? The pizza is not steaming therefore no moisture.

You apparently have a weak one. Mine seems to be able to cause first degree burns if you don't have pants on...

Cardboard is an insulator so the heat from your warmer won't go through like skin. I live in Houston we don't need warmers of any kind.

The point is it does not arrive warm if no effort is made to keep it warm.

Smart man. They do sell those on line but your way is cheaper.
