I live in western WA. This time of year is slice of heaven. The fresh local strawberries have hit. I will stack the berries grown in WA against any others. The texture and sweetness are unreal. Followed by the blueberries and raspberries the bounty is unreal.

And now the bing and Rainier cherries from easterm WA are just starting to hit as well. Soon the apricots, peaches and nectarines will be plump and juicy.

And of course all the fresh veggies are hitting as well.

Yummmm!

My tomatoes, peppers, and strawberries all look promising. Should be a good repeated harvest later in the year, as long as we don't have the kind of sustained heat waves from last year.

90+ for weeks on end. We planted more than ever but harvested less than ever. Didn't even matter if we watered every evening. They still suffered during the day.

Still have a week or two for the strawberries to hit full force here. Can't wait! A little jealous we don't enjoy the fresh cherries and apricots you guys do. Our apples are awesome though :)

The wife already has tomatoes. (Virginia Beach)

My Concord grapes will be early again this year as well.

Strawberries came in around the end of April here this year. The wife and grand kids have been out a few times in Pungo.
