Food Fit For A King

Butter on the bread, not oil.

Butter? Seriously? Butter + peanut butter + processed white wheat bread + frying? What could possibly be wrong with this nutritional advice?

Basically a grilled cheese, but with PB instead of cheese, right?

If it was grilled, not so bad, but we're talking about frying. That's a very different matter. Grilled/broiled = using dry, radiated heat. Fried = direct heat in oil/grease.

PB and banana sandwiches are awesome. i'd love to try the Fool's Gold Loaf, but that ****er is eight thousand calories according to Google. nope.

I never claimed it was good for you. Fortunately, I don't gain weight so I can pretty much eat whatever I want.

So unlike the Dude, whose body shape I share. Dudes in their 50s cannot allow this to stand, Man.

Really? I can understand a small square of fried bread with a proper Full English Breakfast, but frying a whole peanut butter sandwich? There's a reason that type-2 diabetes and morbid obesity are at their highest in the USA, and this kind of recipe is probably a part of the reason.

I just did an experiment and cooked myself a fried peanut butter sandwich in fresh sunflower oil. Tell me what I'm doing wrong Kobie, PoS. It was a disgusting symphony of grease and salt. I managed two mouthfuls before I felt the need to throw it up. Tell me how you make this appalling idea palatable.

Well as Kobie said, you should have used butter instead of oil. Secondly, you should have also added in some sliced bananas, cooked bacon and a drizzle of honey in between the bread, just like what the King liked.

And of course, youre not meant to eat this every day. An occasional splurge won't kill you. ;)

My ass is getting bigger just reading this thread, so you can just go fly a kite mister!

With this food and all the drugs he took, is it any wonder he died trying to squeeze one out?
