I don't really see an issue with GMO's to be honest either. Most the food we eat these days is modified in some way or another.

When I looked into it, it seems like Monsanto was behind most of the studies that said GMOs were harmless. They wield such power with their ginormous profits that they can control a lot of the press about them.

Figure you're better off with some GMO meat then processed cheeto crap.

Absolutely.

If it doesn't taste bad or is toxic why not? It would cut down on the animals we need to kill, as well as the environment disasters that cattle farming produces.

Test tube burgers are predicted to be available at a reasonable cost within a few years. PETA has helped bankroll the millions of dollars in funding that's been needed to perfect Petri dish meat.

If people I knew and trusted their opinion on had tried it and suggested it then I probably would.

Who is making this prediction?

As much as I would love for this to be true, I don't imagine we are even decades away from this, let alone a few years.

Haven't you heard? We'll also be driving flying cars by 2000

I instinctively voted no. But thinking about it some more, I'm not sure. I'd have to know more about it.
