Two New Big Macs Coming

Locations - Elevation Burger Elevation Burger

I always get the Half the Guilt Burger, which has one meat patty and one veggie patty. And a glass of water, no fries or shake. Although I am told the shakes are good.

no thanks. not a fan of grass fed beef

but since it says 'organic' it would be a certain draw for my wife, who tends to be gullible about such branding

That's an odd thing to say.

Do you know what sort of grass fed?

You see, it's a catch phrase, American rules allow a cow to be fattened up with corn, which simply isn't grass fed. Then there's real grass fed. And then there's the more unusual breeds of cattle, which can taste a little gamey. Trader Joes sells frozen grass fed, I get it occasionally, but the fat seems stickier than on any other beef I've had. Seems like it shouldn't be that way.

I like the gamey type, but it's not easy to find, and expensive.

In any case, the Elevation burger tastes good, like fresh ground sirloin.

You must've had an incredible metabolism.

I've seen teenaged boys eat stupendous quantities of food, so a new "Grand"-sized Big Mac (certainly couldn't say "King-sized" ) will be a big hit, I'll bet.

I wish.

I used to, but not any more. In any case, when you're backpacking, you're schlepping a pack all day, up mountains, down mountains. You have a 1k to 2K calorie deficit every day. After a few days of that, you're ready to pig out. AT hikers will go off the trail to resupply, walk into a store, buy a half gallon of ice cream, sit down outside and eat it, and a couple hours later go to a restaurant.

I really miss those days, how middle aged guys can eat without worrying about it?

This is very unfair. :(

Im 6 foot 3 inches (weighing 190 pounds) and could eat two big macs back in high school. My then GF even wrote about it in my yearbook saying she couldnt believe it.
