When I was a kid, the first Little Caesar's I ever knew was a speakeasy-like sit-down place with mood lighting, dark wood-paneled walls, brass fixtures, and a stage where they projected movies while you ate -- with a pretty good game room in the back (this was the early '80s when that kind of thing was really exciting). It had a full, uniformed wait-staff which brought you your pizza on a brass pizza stand.

Now it's just a cheap take-out place, but I'm rather partial to that memory.

Yes - once upon a time it was indeed better quality. Now its difficult to discern from the cardboard box it comes in.

Pizza-hut pan supreme, enough said.

That description sounds like Shakey's rather than Little Caesar's.

I remember that.

I agree. As it turns out I never went much because either they did not deliver and I had no car or I did not have one or I had a better option, but once upon a time they were pretty good.

The only pizza company that has degraded more is Pizza Hut.

Those folks should be REALLY embarrassed.

Can't disagree with that.

I remember their commercials when they first came out. Some were pretty funny.

I was never really a fan of the actual pizza though. Tried it once. Never felt the need to go back.
