why would you be so cheap? you're worth better

Plain burger isn't all that cheap, but it's convenient to eat with one hand and reasonably low cal. In fact...

If I don't have time to enjoy it, why waste the money? I don't really see it as much as food, as in getting fast calories in me when on the run.

Outside of those occasional events, I do eat pretty tasty and enjoyable food - though not always healthy.

Sodium

Ground Beef...300 mg
1oz cheddar....180 mg
Bacon.............delete
Extra salt.........delete
sub chili sauce with low-salt ketchup....70 mg
Whiskey and spices....0 mg

Without the bun...550 mg
With low salt bun...730 mg

btw, I would add grilled onions and grilled mushrooms...0 mg

Screw that. Sodium intake is easily handled by extra diuretic.

Use 10mg furosemide for every extra 750mg sodium. I'd allow a few hundred extra ml of water for that too.

Not orthodox, but definitely doable

LOL!!

Yeah...that's the solution...you enjoy eating salt?...no problem...here, take this prescription drug that'll make you pee more and you can eat all the salt you want.

Of course, you'd better find out if you have good kidneys and make sure you don't screw them up...and don't forget to check your potassium levels.

No thanks. I'd rather not eat so much salt.

Never liked the QP, Like the Big Mac when it is made right which as been rare for years, and it is overpriced. Maybe once a year now. Used to be once week.

although, I wish they would bring back the McDLT. I liked that one the best.

Hot stuff on one side, and the cold stuff on the other side.

Well I dont eat while I drive so I never had that problem.

Yeah sometimes it can't be helped when you travel.

the honey boo boo types drive around while eating mcdonald's hamburgers.

I really haven't eaten McDonald's in quite some time, but when I did it fluctuated. There would be times i loved the Royal with cheese, and other times it was all about the Big Mac.

Ahh, the McDLT...it was mostly just an excuse for an obnoxious amount of styrofoam packaging. But back then McDonald's quality was also a lot better.

Their cooking methods stink.

Strictly a McDonald's question here.

Quarter Pounder or Big Mac?

And why?

I go Quarter Pounder. With cheese.

If I want lettuce and the other stuff, I go to Burger King and get a Whopper.

Plus - what the hell is "special sauce"?

double quarter pounder with cheese should maybe call it the half pounder

It's funny you should mention that.

It's been a year that I've been recovering from almost checking out of life. I've been taking my health very seriously since then, but there have been a handful of time's I've fallen off my restrictions. One time, thinking it won't be so bad, I ate two single bacon cheeseburgers while out driving around town with a friend. Well, I had to pull over and let her drive because my vision got all wonky and I was very lightheaded. And that was while just sitting in the car. If I'd had my blood pressure cuff with me, I think the reading would have made me head straight for the emergency room because of low blood pressure.

So yeah...you CAN actually feel your heart slow down after eating that junk.

I quit eating junk food (for the most part) about two years ago because it made me feel like crap about a half an hour after eating it. So, I totally believe both of you on this.

That's the way I'd go as well :)
