Chipped beef, Surimi crab sticks and cheese.
Fruit, raw vegetables, seaweed
Water and Coke Zero

Pumpkin seeds, almonds, walnuts, beef jerky (not so cheap), cottage cheese, cheese sticks, deli meat, veggies and ranch dip...these are some of my favorites

Almonds (or nuts in general)
Dairy - Greek yogurt, cheese, cottage cheese
Turkey

Depending on how you want to define "low carb" - something like an apple is mostly carbs, but is also very filling and low in calories, so you're not eating many carbs as a proportion of your calories for the day.

Celery sticks and cream cheese, olives. I like fried peanuts (without shells) myself.

Boiled peanuts

I love to take a slice of turkey breast, and roll it around a square of cheddar cheese and a sliver of dill pickle.
Squirt a little German mustard in there, roll it up, and chow down!

Of course my FAVORITE low-carb treat is this one:

Yea. Very true. And that is a big deal for me. I'm trying to cut out the crap carbs and find some healthier snacks that are a little more filling. I'm cutting weight and I'd like to get some stuff that I can munch on that is a little healthier than crackers and other garbage. Cheap is a big deal too. I'm on a budget and that is the hardest stuff to find on a budget. Cheaper healthier snack foods. Idk why.

everything above plus, water, green tea

and homemade juice made with veggies

I LOVE me some green tea. I just gotta use less sugar. Especially now that it is getting colder. We finally had a morning below 60!!!! And the day isn't slated to get into the 90s!

Pure Protein bars.

You can buy 18-bar variety packs from Amazon or your local big box store for just over $20.

For a little over $1.00 per "snack" you'll get 200 cal with ~20 g. of protein and only ~16 g. of carbs, very little of it from sugar.

Add a handful of almonds (100 cal.) if your snacks need to be in the 300 cal. range, or a can of V8 (70 cal.) if you want to get some veggies in too.

It is basically dried beef in thinly cut slices and tastes less pronounced than beef jerky, which I might consider a close relation. It does, however, come in various flavors and from different countries. I like the Swiss variety quite a bit (Bündnerfleisch) or the Italian variety (Bresaola).

It is often served heated with some kind of sauce or gravy, but that is not, what I was thinking of.

That stuff definitely adds up, and is very easy to overeat if you're hungry, especially if there's a lot of sugar and a "Fat Free!" label on the box, lol.

I could very easily eat a pack of graham crackers during a day of snacking -- 6 apples? 4-5 cups of plain yogurt? 150 baby carrots? A pound of turkey? Not so much, though they about have the same calories.

A recipe for you, for a lovely cold low-carb salad.

I invented this throw-together a few months ago, and it's worth sharing.

INCHON SALAD
(or in Korean, 인천 상륙 작전 샐러드)

1/4 lb ham, cubed small
1/4 lb cheddar cheese, also cubed small
1 large kosher dill pickle, chopped
1/2 cup Korean kimchee, chopped fine
1 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup low-carb ranch dressing

Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl, stir well, cover, and refrigerate for at least two hours.

Serve as is, or on the side of black eyed peas.

Serves four adults or seven super-models.

Roast chick peas from a can in the oven until the turn into little crispy bites. Cover them in any seasoning you want. I've done them covered in sriracha and olive oil and I've done them with ranch seasoning. Delicious both ways. And if you are worries about carbs, the carbs in beans like chick peas don't count because your body can't really process them. So it's a high protein and no carb snack that's nice and crunchy which is hard to find.

Thanks guys. I really love these. I am hoping we have a good goose season this year because my dad always makes some great goose jerky. But that is a few months away.

Cold tomato.

Dried Edamame pods. They have 1 net carb. Also Almonds are my personal staple with 2 net carbs and a wide variety of flavors. Peanuts have three net carbs so I don't eat those as often. Pecan's actually only have 1 net carb but they only come in plain or salted. Those are the snacks I have at work. At home I stock up on can prosciutto wrapped cheese in the fridge in between meals. Watch out for jerky though. Many of them are loaded up with sugar. The more expensive versions won't have it.

If you're on a soda kick there's always "Zevia" brand of sodas. They're sweetened with a special type of alchohol that doesn't foment tooth decay and they actually don't add any carbs to your diet.

If you're ever looking for a good side dish there's always cauliflower mash, which is basically mashed up cauliflower made to look like mashed potatoes. I've lost 20 pounds in about a month without doing any exercise.

I like white tea, no sugar.

Thanks guys. Did my first full day. My snacks were some turkey "jerky" that happened to be on sale and cheese. I'm going to have some carrots when I get home for before I head to JiuJitsu. I had a wrap as well, but that isn't a snack lol.

Arise, Zombie Thread and do my bidding!

Just wanted to help anyone sticking to low carb by suggesting giving ChocZero a try. It's a bit pricey, but it is the best carb free chocolate I've ever had.

The chocolate uses Monk Fruit Extract and soluble fiber to imitate all the structural and flavor aspects of sugar, and do an amazing job of it.

So you get chocolate with antioxidants from the monk fruit, and a good amount of soluble fiber.

I'm less impressed with their syrups, taste wise, the chocolate one is good, though. But the syrups are crazy high in soluble fiber. 1 Tbsp has 14g!

Beef jerky.
Mixed nuts.

More of a meal, but use edamame pasta instead of wheat/whole wheat. Still has some carbs, but, observe:

I am not into low carb.

I am not into any kind of food restrictions.
