Kashmir leg of lamb

I used to love lamb. After I had kids, lamb, bison and venison started tasting gamey to me. It's been many years since I ate, might be time to give it another try.

You couldn't do better than start with that.

Nice recipe, but I prefer to keep the yogurt separate from the lamb and use it as a sauce instead.

My roast leg of lamb recipe is pretty simple- just ev olive oil, lime, rosemary, Worcestershire sauce, butter and slivers of garlic that I stick into the lamb by poking it with a sharp knife. I mix the yogurt with crushed garlic and cumin, then serve it on the side with roast potatoes, string beans, corn and sauteed mushrooms.

Something very close and it was good, just not my cup of tea. I like to keep the lamb more simple, to make it easier to recycle.

I made a rack of lamb with a blackberry pistachio crust one Christmas many moons ago. It was fabulous.
