The Story of a 78-Year-Old Vegan Bodybuilder - Jim Morris: Lifelong Fitness -

How many 78 year olds? How many bodybuilder 78 year olds? How many vegan 78 year olds? How many vegan bodybuilder 78 year olds? One.

This food forum is going downhill again.

Look at the op. Vegan equates to sanctimonious arrogance. Watch some of these youtube vegans, some of them are very extreme. Like ISIS level extreme.

One youtube vegan fascists thinks because he has an eating disorder and an unhealthy obsession with body image he must call for anialation of normal people.

It's murder to kill a roach but not a human. You can't even make parody.

who said that? bodybuilding isn't about "big lifts"

Never claimed that it was. You directly stated that this guy can lift more than another poster you responded to because of his diet.

I merely pointed out that's an specious statement.

Then you started going off about burgers.

Are you sure you're up engaging in rational discourse? It's not sounding like it.

He's been ok for a while, I wonder what's happened?

I think it's sad that he hasn't outgrown poor body image.

sounds more like you're threatened by his eating habits and his vitality. A lot of people with poor health and eating habits sabotage or criticize others who perform the discipline and the hard work.

Does that include those who eat meat and do the discipline and hard work? His appearance is hideous, there must be something wrong with a person if they want to look like that, vegan or non-vegan.

why are you hijacking the thread? dumb. this thread is about the man in the OP who is 78 and competes in bodybuilding while maintaining a vegan diet. I;m sorry this threatens you, but stay on topic

Who says he is a vegan. I don't care what he eats, it's your attitude here that I find interesting. You know what we all look like, you know what we all eat and you know how much we can lift. How do you do it? We have an older guy who is a bodybuilder. There are many such people. What else is there to say?

Who says he is a vegan. I doubt that.

OK, you think he's going through all this and secretly eating meat. LOL

you've stated that 3 times now, we have heard you

At the moment, I am convinced that fat and meat—which are often regarded as things to be avoided—are something I should welcome. I have found it extremely difficult to purchase fatty foods. It's all low-fat, or all the fat is taken out! I've even seen butter with 45 percent less fat! I don't know what that is! And skimmed cream and skim milk—you don't seem to be able to find anything that has fat in it.

So anybody who says anorexia or bulimia is an eating disorder is really just threatened by bulimics and anorexics vitality and eating habits?

This 78 yo fellow has poor eating habits though i admire his discipline, it certainly isn't healthy. Just look at him.

Well don't you know anybody who has a differing opinion on what looks good is just jealous of vegans. We all deep down inside wish we were really vegans. When i go fishing and catch a fish and fillet it I'm really just mad at myself because i don't like like a cartoon character.

When you look in the mirror and are really pleased with your physique you are deep down inside hating yourself because you ate that piece of bacon earlier.

Don't you know the only way humans can be happy is by being vegan and a body builder?
