A combination hot dog/hamburger has been introduced in Australia. The creator appeared on Shark Tank but did not get an investment. The special bun is designed to cover both so it is a burger bun with two extensions on the side to cover the dog <O>. This must be viewed as the single greatest creation since penicillin.

Wait 'til the anti-GMO activists hear about this genetic monstrosity. The horror.

Mark Murray of Perth plans to soon begin selling his patented cross between a hamburger and a hotdog, which he calls the “Hamdog.” He'll begin selling hamdogs in Australia.

From coverage in The Mercury, an Australian newspaper:

It's like the sandwich itself is trying to warn you not to eat it.

Bad reporting. It was the bun which was patented.
They link to the patent and then later quote showing it was the bun which was patented.

Sounds gross. Now a burger topped with brats, italian sausage or boudin, that I'll go for.
