TGI Friday's has a pretty good black bean burger.
i wouldn't mind a veggie burger fast food joint. i'd probably go there regularly if it was significantly less 550 calories a burger. it's not going to be one of the major chains, though, unless an upstart enters the market.
Likely not going to happen. Completely separate cooking and storage facilities separated from the meat, a dedicated employee (to prevent cross-contamination) to service a demand that isn't really there, etc....
Not a comparison at allIf I want a great Italian spaghetti, should I insist that the Chinese take-out place down the street start making it?
No, but they do offer choices. I bet they would even omit the chicken when askedShould people insist that Chick Fil-A start selling Chinese food?
Mom and son stay home, dad and daughter go out to eat. ....just one scenario that comes to mind. Office party, birthday party, anniversary?Look, if you want a great vegetarian meal, either make it yourself, or go to a place that specializes in vegetarian cuisine.
I don't know why anyone would expect a chain that's specialized in nothing but meat products to be able to just whip out a delicious FAKE-meat product.
Not to mention what would the added expense be for the chains? You gonna accept that your bean/tofu/mushroom "burger" gets cooked right alongside the beef burgers?
Probably not are you? You're gonna demand a whole separate unit for the meat-less product. Right?
Why do people think they have less choices just because someone adds a few more selections?

In and Out is pretty perfect the way that it is... streamlined and that is what people like.
Cheese Burger
Hamburger
Fries
Shakes
Soda
DONE.
Or just not goto a burger joint demanding veggies... Crazy thought.
It'd be like people demanding https://www.facebook.com/EatAtEarthBurger/ serve beef patties.
FFS why?
...Or make it all inclusive, enjoyable for all tastes, accommodating everyone. Mmm, what a concept.
If they thought that was a good idea, they would have done it already. See...successful business know what works and what doesnt. They dont run their business by petition.or the existing place could offer another choice. gee whiz
...
You don't understand how business works do you?

Drawing additional crowds by expanding the menu sounds like good business practice to me.

Its a 'burger' joint. Why dont those militant vegans start a "Down and Out Tofu and Black Bean Patty Drive Thru" of their very own?
or the existing place could offer another choice. gee whiz
Unless you are a burger joint known for making burgers. Thats like going to Philly and telling Geno's they should start making phalaphadogs.we have quite a few meatless restaurants in town
my wife and daughter enjoy them
but i will never be able to tell you first hand
not a bad idea to cast a wider net with a restaurant's expanded menu
Just tell them to hold that terrible sauce eh?

I love in n out... best burgers. Go everytime we come back to the states.
Burger king has made chicken sandwiches and had numerous menu items as long as I have known. In n Out Burger is a burger joint.like burger king selling chicken nuggets and hot dogs
casting a wider net - despite the limited name
