No, but sounds intriguing.

Where does it grow? how does it differ from the standard white/rose garlics?
 
I had it served to me in some hummus, but also tried it alone on a cracker. pretty complex taste

It does sound tasty. I do wonder what the heating process to turn it black does to it nutritionally. still I would try it certainly. I like garlic in general.
 
Looks like it's available at whole foods. It's a bit of a pain in the ass to make. I'm not getting a fermenter...
