Who has seen this show? There's now a cookbook! I won't link it because I'm not exactly trying to sell the book, search for it on Amazon if you're interested.

However, if you've seen the show, then you know that in each episode Bob has a new Burger of the Day on the blackboard, and it usually revolves around some bad pun. I got the cookbook because I love hamburgers (they are one of my infinity foods) and I love Bob's Burgers.

The first burger I made was the Bet it all on Black Garlic burger., It was the first time I used black garlic. That stuff is STRONG, but tasty. The Black Garlic mayonnaise the recipe calls for is quite powerful. Also the volume is rather large, it can be cut in half and still be more than enough for the burger. But it was delicious.

Thumbing through the book, there are a lot of terrific recipes. I am making the second one tomorrow is A Good Manchego Is Hard to Find Burger. But there are a bunch of delicious looking burgers in them. I believe this started from a blog where a fan was trying to make Bob's burger of the day and the producers loved the blog so much, they decided to put a book together.

If you like burgers, look into this book. If you like burgers and Bob's Burgers...then buy this book.

Thanks, I will look it up.

I thought there would be more fans of Bob's Burgers and hamburgers in general, lol.

So the second one I ended up making was actually the Cheeses has risen burger.

We had bought some fancy buns for this burger. But we didn't make them when we intended, in fact it was quite some time after the fact. In that time, the buns actually got a little moldy. So while this burger is typically served on a bun, I just said fudge it and served it sans bun.

I love burgers and Bobs Burgers too so I will try and check it out. Very underrated show in my opinion.

The third burger (I realize I'm talking to myself here, but first off Bob's Burgers is an awesome show, and secondly, these burgers are DELICIOUS).

We're Here, We're Gruyere, Get Used To It burger
A little involved, this burger. Not too bad, but I had to carmalize the onions for like a half an hour before making the burger (the burger is topped with the onions, which are hidden under the gruyere cheese in the pic).

Turned out really good, the sweet pickles really went well with the caramelized onions. Wife liked it more than the Cheeses Has Risen burger...but I don't know, this one was really good.

Free to brie you and me1.jpg

Didn't take many photos of this one, it's the It's Free to Brie You and Me burger. Burger with Worcestershire and stuffed with brie cheese, topped with melted brie, caramelized onions, and sweet pickles. It was really good. It's hard to keep the cheese in the middle of the burger when cooking, I'll be able to do a better job next time, but it was still delicious.

I truly hope you have this on a loop in your kitchen while you're cooking

It's the Bleu By You burger

The burger

I liked this one a lot, but likely because I love bleu cheese. A burger stuffed with bleu cheese and topped with crispy bacon, swiss chard, and a red wine reduction made with red wine (duh), onions, garlic, and tomatoes.

It was pretty good, the reduction takes a long time and I probably should have reduced it a lot more. Hard to time these things when there's so much going on at once. But it was really good.
