Whopperito

I prefer a Whopper without the mayo

They need to come up with something better than Mayo - like Chipotle sauce or something similar

I like mayo, but the three or four times a year I order a Whopper, I ask them to go easy on it. I think the default setting for Burger King employees is to basically put a dollop of mayo on the sandwich that resembles, in both size and personality, Jabba the Hutt.

It is amazing that in just two years BK and McD's have change places, now it is BK that is acting desperate, throwing everything at the wall hoping that something sticks, McD's is the one that looks most together.

Just got a Whopper. First in at least a year. First one that has been right in 5, though of course not in the same league as the 70's original.

My memory only goes back to the early to mid 80s, but yeah, BK was WAY better back then.

And can they stop with the chicken fries crap? They're terrible and nobody likes them.

The only reason I ever go to BK anymore is because my fiancee's dad goes there to hang out with his other retired buddies who have nothing better to do than sit at Burger King for 2 hours in the morning and argue about Donald Trump, then he sits there and plays Clash of Clans on his iPad for a couple hours (hey, free Wi-Fi brah) until I stop in and have a soda or maybe lunch with him on my way into work.

YADDA YADDA YADDA,,,real life, I get it, but the Whopper is still the BOMB when they make it right.

Which in my experience has been rare.

Sadly.

Yes they do. They also need to ditch the so called cheese sauce. I am a total cheese person but not in sauce form.

The only reason I'd venture into one of those is to check out the sauce. BK occasionally comes up with a decent condiment, which can then be special-ordered on an actual sandwich. The Stacker Sauce is ****ing amazing on a Whopper.
Intriguing. May have to try this.

i haven't tried that yet. i don't get to BK that often, but maybe it's time.

The Wife and I saw that the other day, there are just too many taco places around (with really good tacos)
to waste time on that. If I want a soft taco, that is what I get, If I want an OK burger, BK works.

don't forget to chase it down with a huge mountain dew

I don't do Fast Food, but last weekend on the road home from grocery shopping I stopped at a Burger King because I saw they had a new dish...Hot Dogs.

I thought, ok I haven't had an hot dog in a while so I'll try it.

The pictures looked okay so I went all in... Got myself one meal (hot dog/drink/fries) and one additional hot dog. I told them just mustard and heavy on the onions.

Of course when I got them they were as bad as I should have expected. The fries were awful, the hotdogs were burnt where the "grill lines" were and otherwise uncooked, and they put like 5 pieces of diced onion on each hot dog. I took one bite, then threw the whole mess away.

Waste of time and money and reaffirmed my distaste for fast food places. They places are trying to serve too many things and doing badly at all of them, instead of focusing on one good thing (burgers and fries) and doing well at it.

kudos to you, when I am starving and have the junk right in front of me, I am likely going to eat some of it...I haven't tried their dogs. I allow myself a couple of hotdogs a year and do them on the BBQ, glad you told me not to order them.

There are fast food places that are delicious. Five Guys is great but not quite a traditional fast food place. I also like Chipotle but that's also not a traditional fast food place. Jack in the Box is pretty decent and so is Culvers for some more normal fast food type place.

Chipotle is edible. a far cry from burger king

sounds like a marketing gimmick, i'd try one but i don't want 3 days of diarrhea, which is the typical result of eating fast food.

Don't think I would try it. Just would eat a burger.

There are so many good Taco places to get the real thing!
