Since I have a choice of a protein or a protein shake, this morning I chose the first option. In this case a Prime Ribeye pan seared with a small dab of garlic butter melted on it as it rested. I can eat about a 1/3 of a decent sized rib eye. Another third will be lunch and the rest breakfast tomorrow. So that's one 12 dollar steak over 3 meals. I am not complaining.

English muffin
blueberry lemon jelly

Cocoa Wheats and sausage links.

my Christmas breakfast was a bowl of peanut butter crunch with unsweetened soy milk. this is special, because i lost my cereal privileges years ago. i used to eat way too much of it when i was fat, so i cut it out of my diet. i think that i have better self control now, but if you see me buying cinnamon pop tarts, call Dr. Drew. either way, it's Christmas, so why not.

Mayo and onions on toasted 9 grain bread. Yep, I weird.

two pancakes with butter and sugar free syrup
hash browns with ketchup and a bit of salt.

2 gluten free silver dollar blueberry pancakes, plain and one sausage patty.

home made egg muffin with meat free sausage. used my egg muffin toaster to cook the egg to see if it still works like it used to.

i've had it since around 2009, and it's still going strong.

I'm having the same thing my ninety something year old grandparents had. Put the coffee on, go outside and have a smoke, bacon and the eggs cooked in the bacon grease, white toast with real butter. And if I'm feeling ambitious, some taters too.

Three mini quiche and two pieces of toast with homeade jam. Lots of coffee. I followed this up with getting totally soaked on my way to the jeep. A long ride to work in atrocious weather and more coffee. Sheesh!! I need to retire. {sigh}
