A Vegetarian Butcher? This Dutch Shop Leads The Way

I don't eat fake meat products because they tend to have toxic chemicals in them, like artificial additives. I'm very conscious of my protein intake but even so if I want meat I'll eat meat.

I'm not a fan of artificial anything. 90% of my diet is home made and real.

I subscribed to a vegetarian magazine just out of curiosity and found the great majority of the recipes call for way too many ingredients to make a simple dish as if it is necessary to hide the flavor of the original veggie. I eat only organic chicken and grass feed beef.

No interest in this kind of thing.

I eat plenty of fruits and veggies, many of them raw or partially cooked. (I like kinda the sort of semi-crunchy broccoli and asparagus that results when you only sautee for a few minutes, etc). When I want meat, I eat meat. Don't need veggies masquerading as meat.

I can see why non-vegitarians would order meat substitutes. Sometimes they just want a healthier version of something they like. Now, whether or not it actually is healthier depends on the dish itself.

if you ever go out to eat, you NOT are eating that.

And of course they really want to eat meat or why do it? I eat my vegetables in the form of vegetables. When I prepare my vegetable curry I don't try to make it appear to be chicken curry.
