Yeah about 5 years back I went to a low calorie, low carb high protein diet and lost about 40 lbs and still have it off. It's mostly fish, boneless skinless chicken breast and lean beef with fresh veggies.

I do not eat processed junk food anymore, except for very rarely like on road trips and similar. I try to eat less meat nowadays (I also am particular about what kinds of meats I do eat, I try to eat more sea food, fish, and chicken over pork, beef, lamb, etc). I cut out a lot of sugar and became conscious about how much sugar I was eating. I tried eating more vegetables, and increasing the number of salads that I eat every week.

I'm far from healthy (I gained way too much weight during my college years), but I am losing weight.
